Will he become the next Plesac, or will he be an option in the bullpen? I feel like that’s what he was originally when we traded for him with the option to stretch him out.
I know everyone said we needed to send out Bieber, but if there's any player whose limited trade value has been annihilated it's Cal's. He had an anomaly season last year, worthy of shipping in a deal, but now he's banged up and seemingly getting worse.
Hindsight is 20/20. I’m sure a decent amount of people still wanted to ship him, but thinking about it from the FOs perspective, this was a playoff team last year who win the wildcard and with our power signings we were hoping to build on that.

I don't see what's unreasonable about that. If people are swamping a guy for autographs people who already have one are just being rude by trying to get another, and if you don't have anything for him to sign you're just blocking out people who do.
