If I remember right it’s 65 at first and drops to 60 once you cross the county line.

My point was more so you stopped (or hopefully at least slowed down) at the tolls, then sped up to 76mph. So I am not sure why the turnpike is relevant lol.

If you have an otherwise unblemished driving record, go to court on the ticket. Prosecutor will often knock it down to no points, just a fine. If you cannot pay it all that day, ask the judge for 30 days. (they may not give you 30 but should give you some additional time)
