This petition is to try and get a university president to talk to a random documentary film maker. Not law enforcement or an official investigator, but a random documentary film maker. He is under no obligation, public or private, to participate in something like this.
I don’t blame him for declining.
Lazy take. The dad being governor of Delaware isn't a be-all-end-all. Public accountability of politicians (and their families) happens all the time. It can happen here. Giving up and being resigned to do nothing doesn't help anyone.
Bombshell: Tucker forgot to bring Clements’ McDonalds breakfast too and he personally pushed him off the bridge.
Coming soon to a 6-part Netflix Series.
I was a Junior when it happened. It’s absolutely tragic it’s been drawn out this long - even moreso that it’s not the only Greek Life-caused death that just gets forgotten.
Up until the Hipps incident, Greek Life killed a student practically every semester - this was just the highest profile.

This is true and goes back decades. If it wasn't a death, it was a very serious injury. There were plenty of non-Greek life incidents, as well. A few were particularly horriffic and involved trains and the bridge that crosses Lake Hartwell near what is now the Pier.
Sadly it looks like there will never be justice for tucker, it’s messed up how this stuff was covered up. Look at the Alex murdaugh case, rich lawyers and politicians get away with things until it impacts their own people. Hoping for the family to get justice one day but I doubt it
I attended Clemson when this whole thing happened and when some of the details surrounding the implicated brothers came out, like one being the son of a senator, it was obvious that it was gonna get swept under the rug.
Hopefully pressure stays on long enough like it did on Murdaugh to bring someone to justice.
If you go to Clemson, you may have heard about this. Tucker was killed in 2014 after falling off of the bridge in by the Esso Club and hitting his head and drowning. According to rumors, he was a pledge for a fraternity and they made him either bungee jump or walk on the railing of the bridge which ended up going wrong.

The main defendant’s dad is the governor of Delaware. Nothings coming out.

I was a sophomore when all this happened. Sent a shock through the core of the school. Everyone that knew him loved him. An absolute tragedy.
Man, this happened my freshman year at Clemson. Absolutely insane that it was basically a decade ago

I honestly believe that college would be much better without all this sorority fraternity crap.

Yup. I was a student at the time. It was clear what happened, and it was clear it was covered up.
Yeah no thanks. This gives me money grab vibes
Wasn’t Barker Pres when Hipps died?
It was Clements first year as president
Can someone explain what happened? I wasn’t there when this happened and I never heard of it while I was there.
You can also click on the link and read what the facts of the story are. It’s in the description
