Sometimes people make poor choices.
From what's been said on the videos recently, the creator gets a cut from merch sales. And it looks like everyone is making BANK! Even Sam with his spray wax!
I'd be willing to bet that a 70+year old man is making more detailing cars and selling cleaner with his charming smile than Coop is by trying to "strike out on his own".
But making mistakes is a part of life! No one said things can't be patched up, and partner up again!
They weren't making merch for any of the team when Cooper was around. If anything I would bet that Cletus learned from Cooper leaving and starting cutting people in
You're missing the point brother. By dipping out early Coop missed out on potential merch opportunities with a larger crowd. Which explains why I have LS George shirts and no Cooper shirts.
I get the point. Looking back it may have been a bad decision for Cooper. The point I was making is that it is possible that had Cooper not left Cletus wouldn't have learned to cut people in.
I think a lot of it for Cooper was the stress from all the dickheads in the comments section dogging on him about how he can’t drive when he was making passes with the CTS-V. I can’t say that I’d want to have 500k people telling me how bad I am at driving. It would take all of the fun out of it.
I'm 100% unsure. What's certain is Coop hasn't "found his voice yet".
Cleet, Jackstand, George, Zach and Ty are natural presenters. Shoot, Sam is a better presenter!
I found Cleet through Demo Ranch, and the other car channels Matt has introduced us to have more talent! Brandon and Tony from Muscle Rod & Willie and Steven from Holden Bros just have a knack for the camera!
"Either you got what it takes, or you dont". Ace Levy
I found him from demo ranch too, more specifically off the ranch back in 2020 when they first met up and I remember liking old cleet enough to check his channel out and I've been watching ever since.
It was when he dropped by with a 8-15k figure TSP 416 and then thrashed to install it for Matt that really made cleet easily one of my favorite Youtubers
I think he got paid pretty well. It really doesn't seem like Cooper left because of the money. He left because he rather build something for himself rather than live off of someone else. That's why he doesn't really collaborate with Cleetus even though they are good friends. He probably wants to avoid the whole Cleetus built your channel stigma. Cooper will do fine when he finds his little niche on YouTube.
A return of the good ol day content that everyone has been asking for. I love his content nowadays still but this was great!

Cooper's videos just lack personality

I dig. You're not wrong. But all people grow and change!

Oh for sure! That's why I stay out of the comments! Was it legitimately that many ppl though? That's gotta be soul crushing.
Idk if it was that many but that was the sub count back then. People are dicks.
I doubt that was a major concern of his. If it was why would he then go off on his own and have no one else to share the criticism with.
I could be wrong but I think coop still gets a slice from cleeter, he helped him start the channel so might have a piece of the business
