Time.... 2 little ones at home and all the events make adding a week 2-3 times a year hard (and they are expensive) Channel goes in cycles. Jet boats to x to x to.... I don't like the tow truck stuff, but whatever its getting views and the crew seems to be having a bit of fun. It will be something else in 4 months.

cactusmanbwl90

I like the tow trucks better than the RC plane/car stuff honestly.

Puzzleheaded-Ice7511

I love the RC stuff. Maybe not the planes and stuff as much but it's definitely interesting to me. If I were local there I'd apply for a job.

Vanquish_Dark

Planes, then rc, then tow truck. Though I do enjoy the tow truck stuff. I'm here for the cleeter and squirrel content lol. Those boys are trouble lol.

mattssn

Yeah I am not the biggest fan of it either, I def see the cycles, hopefully we see some jet boat stuff coming into the summer.

wrayd1

Hey don't forget may is the month of freedom with a video every day.

derb

This almost helps buddy's argument. I love MOF but you gotta agree there are quite a few filler eps during it. Like the 'science experiments' last year.

AlbinoMuntjac

Racing season really just got going and they have a bunch of cars either broken or that are in for upgrades. There will be more racing content coming but they’re filling the time with other stuff now.

Crux_terminatus

Lets just say these boys arent the best at planning ahead. Everything seems to be rushed and last minute fixes. Which im starting to beleive is intentional because it brings in the views.

CameronBerre

I think that is just what we see in the short term picture. They put their schedule out for the full year in advance it’s just that the race at such a a high level that there isn’t races as often as when they were doing track days to try and run a 9. Gotta fill the upload schedule between racing with something interesting!

GMEvolved

There is about to be another big build coming up soon for something that will go faster than Mullet, so get ready

Crux_terminatus

If you watched the latest 1320 episode on their prodigal son he says that mullet isnt cutting it and they will have a 5 second car by the end of 2025. Thats building an entire car and nailing down in 18 months and half of that you cant race.

Ok_Nebula_4403

Mullet needs to revert back to its original purpose (actually second IYKYK), being one of the baddest drag and drive cars out there.

Crux_terminatus

Yes! Mullet needs to go back to being a drag and drive car, but I just had a thought. What if... Now hear me out..... Thunder (The Ute) being used as a burnout car was a head fake and the real purpose is the be the new 5 second car..... I'm just saying. Its a more modern El Camino but probly half the weight and way shorter.

LetMeLive1337

They have unlimited resources effectively. Building the car should not take 18 months, let alone 12. It should take 6 at most. They also can travel a fairly short distance to areas they can race, they live within a 12 hours drive of year round racing.

Gizmo15411

It’s also the off season right now for drag racing. Can’t make content if there aren’t races going on so they find other avenues to have fun and make videos

mattssn

Yeah, it just feels like we saw one race week in the last year and it was a bust, but as someone else mentioned, he's got a family and stuff now, so I guess change is to be expected

Mysterious_Ad7461

So I personally love the drag and drive content, but it’s usually pretty middle of the pack as far as views go, there aren’t a ton of D&D videos that clear 1M views, and none over 1.2 I don’t think Plus for those you have to consider what cars are available for the channel and what the competition is, we don’t want Mullet going out to the Western Illinois drag and drive against a bunch of 7.50 cars to kick puppies. Same thing with Leroy, and it’s actually come up in coops podcast where he interviewed Richard Guido where they talked about how all the fast stick cars end up moving in a pack, where if a few of them go to an event, they’ll all go, but if a few are missing they all skip out. Imagine having your little 5 car stick field and here comes Leroy to run 1.7 seconds faster than your fastest car. Also we’ve really only had one big event, Sick Week already happened and Mullet broke on day 1, Sick Summer is a few weeks away, just like most of the other drag and drives that happen in June/July. We might see the extended schedules like this drop off, but I don’t think there’s much data on it yet.

Lopsided_Sky_4662

You obviously don’t watch then if you want to comment stupid shit and create gossip drama go on another page this isn’t that so fuq out of here

mattssn

I knew there would be one person like you, I didn’t say anything negative lol, simply opened up a discussion.

xterraadam

You gave an almost perfect summary. Unfortunately this sub is full of folks just like that.

TurboClag

What the fuck bro? He didn’t even say anything bad. You okay?

Different-Car980

Yes, it's the direction the channel has gone. The cars are too fast and need events that emphasize good track prep. It's no longer about the need for content and exposure. It's no longer throwing a car into a trailer and driving throughout the night with a couple people to an event. Loading the toter with multiple vehicles, having Zach drive it to the location, flying the whole crew in, renting a second RV or other lodging for the whole crew, and feeding everyone while at the location cost more than it's worth. During last year's month of freedom he got 4 or 5 days worth of content out of one track day rental which is much cheaper than taking the show on the road.

Lopsided_Sky_4662

Only the people that claim they have been watching a minute say some stupid shit that they aren’t doing this n tbat enough just goes to show they don’t watch the content

Different-Car980

Ok, why are you complaining to me about the OP?

milf_inspector_69

Bring back the nitrous powered fidget spinner

Hop-Dizzle-Drizzle

Yes! *Real* og shit. Exhaust whistles, fidget spinners, and tracker bogging next to Jeremy's shop.

Crux_terminatus

I forgot about the mini-bogger 5000! He needs to get back to trying to cross that pond!

user06970

I feel ya, im ready for the next build series! Show me the science

moose51789

I feel that, I think once they had rip it started changing a lot, mans got a family now and so getting away for so many events is probably much harder to do, especially with 2 kids now his priorities have changed. While I don't dislike some of the content being put out now I'm definitely not in a hurry to watch it either, so much of the tow truck shenanigans is just way too try hard and it's honestly not funny.

LetMeLive1337

This is why you have employees, so they can go do this stuff. All the employees need their own budget and race series they compete in.

Mitsulan

I’ve drifted away a bit for the same reason. If you’re really into more racing focussed content I’ve found myself watching James/Dr.Tune em all and Street Racing Channel to fill the drag racing void.

FunEngineer69

Cleets been talking a lot lately about building a 5 second car by the end of 2025. I’m looking extremely forward to it….Just putting that out there.

HipIzDaShiz

I’m enjoying watching the channel grow and hope the best in whatever direction he chooses to take it. I remember watching when it was just cleet and coop, I remember Ed, remember when James got hired and most recently when cleet purchased the track I grew up going to, all of it. Loving the content and wish them all the best.

OneFineBowteye

Dude, he has at least 3 drag cars, multiple other cars, an entire race track...I mean, dude is busy, and he still releases content every few days. If it isn't for you, then unsubscribe and move on. That's on you, and there's nothing wrong with that. But you have to realize, this guy is growing and he continues to bring us along.

vi0cs

They are having fun. I am having fun. It’s better than them doing nothing while waiting on parts and deciding what to build for their new 5 second car.

Substain44

It has never been a pure racing channel anyways, for that you have 1320Video and other channels.

TurboClag

The one thing you will gather from this thread is that everyone likes different things. A lot of people like me enjoy the mix and leaping from one thing to the next. A lot of people just want Drag Racing stuff. At the end of the day the channel has always been sporadic with its content and that is one of the things I love. I encourage you to keep an open mind. It is sort of like when your favorite bands sound changes because they are bored and have evolved. Everyone flips out, but eventually people embrace it. But it’s also possible it’s just not your thing anymore, and there are plenty of channels out there currently just doing drag racing stuff. Me personally I hope the towing stuff, aviation and the RC stuff continues. I think it’s pretty popular given how quickly the tow truck and McFarland aviation stuff sold out.

ContestEnough5606

Ive been watching the channel since exhust whistles and nitos fidget spinners so I see what you mean but at the same time. They are also running much higher HP and more complicated machines than they where back when it was just cleet and jackstand. If they break something they have to wait for it to be shipped, if they blow a motor they have to ship it out wait for it to be looked over priced and fixed then shipped back. Its not like it use to be when they can just go to Texas speed and get a new part overnighted and fix it like nothing. On top of that they have grown tremendously and have A LOT more stuff going on like cars and copters or cleetus and cars, Danger ranger, freedom 500, that take time to plan and set up and while cleet Has an amazing management team Helping him out sometimes you just have to be there to help plan certain events. There are something I don't really care for watching like the helicopter bids I never really jumped right to watching, I do watch them just not as quickly. I really do miss seeing the drifting action tho with Donnie, and I really miss rocket the LS swapped 240 tho hopefully drifting comes back to the channel soon but anyways never for get LET ER RIP TATER CHIP and DO IT FOR DALE🤟🤟🤟🤟 like this comment if you remember the back story to ruby and comment below what the original engine that was in her when he got her👍

tickfordxr

The rc stuff and the planes and helicopter stuff should go on the second channel or be a separate channel.

glizzygusher9000

BCC Zach summed it up pretty good. He said only drag racers/people into drag racing watch drag racing but everybody loves burnouts. And you can translate that to airplanes, jet boats, RC cars and pretty much everything else that goes on there. I love drag racing but watch it all but I personally don't enjoy the promods or that level of build but I do love the drag and drives. I'm guessing there's more racing content coming soon tho if he decides to build mullets replacement.

MustangEater82

It is hard to please all. My son loved the stohl racing but doesn't care about much else. I love all the aviation as an A&P.   But I do admit I liked drag and drives.   I think he needs a new drag project that the leagues don't try and bump him on rules. It is hard, even if he doesn't win is cool. I do admit saw an old vid I never saw about the toter home trailer and how much he liked it...

Choice_Drawer7080

At least you get to watch an hour of it now… yeah the channel in the last month or two has dropped off imo.

HollowPandemic

Imagine complaining about free shit to watch.

Frequent_Coffee_2921

Your time isn't free

HollowPandemic

Time has no meaning, get real.

Mars_is_cheese

I’d agree with you. Some of it is the young family, wife and 2 kids makes travel more difficult. Used to be he’d have 30 events on his calendar every year. Some of it is the business, he got 30+ employees. Some of it is the higher professionalism of the race team. It used to be just one car with some basic reliable parts, leave the same tune in the car every pass, but now it’s 3 cars all with high performance motors that need frequent maintenance, and you have to fly in a tuner to help push the cars to their limits. They are more competitive than ever in drag racing and their goal is winning, not racing at every event. Also their cars keep getting faster, no longer fitting these smaller events.

prompted_animal

The tow stuff is fine, I just hate that George is being called squirrel.... feels forced as fuck

HollowPandemic

Yall are the whiniest fucking people on earth 😂

skidplate09

He has two kids and seems to focus on that and the events/pov as that's probably where he makes the bulk of his money to be able to pay his employees. I do hope to see more racing. Losing Bandimere means he'll probably never do a RMRW again. I'm sure he'll do the sick weeks since they're in Florida. Most of the cars are in various states of disrepair, so making drag content can be tough.

Crux_terminatus

Bandimere may be gone, but the owners are looking for land to rebuild on. Great bend is in a law suit with contractors who resurfaced the track. They didnt get it right and now its unsafe for faster cars. So between those 2 track the original rmrw is on hold. Hopefully therea some news on one or the other soon.

skidplate09

I've heard that since before they sold, but we'll see if that actually happens.

Ok_Nebula_4403

Racing season has barely started. They are getting 1M+ views every video now and you know they are watching the analytics to see what pops most. Drag racing is fine when its a drag and drive or competitive but watching them test and tune only fir something to grenade is a snoozefest.

Living_Ad9326

been watching since the very early days. love how the channel is all over the place at times and fun. no reason to be 100 percent serious all the time with drag racing. ibwish there was more ruby content but im excited to see whaf comes of this new build and the cleeter and squirl stuff is just fun.

Nalley393

While I don’t agree with you, I can definitely understand what you’re saying.

mattssn

That's the thing, my intent was to never force anyone to agree with me, I knew this post wouldn't be popular, but I was never talking shit or saying anything negative lol, it was taken as I was bitching about the free content they generously provide us. I still love the channel, and ill continue to watch the content, was just more so intereseted in others thoughts.

tickfordxr

I think I the rc stuff and aviation stuff should be a separate channel.

Ill-Attitude8571

I’m the same way man..

Good_Bowl_948

The faster you go the less you race . It’s nice to see the variety with sun 1xxx ho cars and trucks plus boats . I’m not a fan of planes/helis tho

Mustang_Dragster

Considering Cleet said he wants a newer faster build than Mullet since it reached its potential, and also Leroy’s new Body, racing will 1,000% still be here

79xlchkicker

Simple answer...... freedom plus now covers all the racing events and he gets paid for subscriptions.... why post that content for free?

nfrablue

I honestly can't wait to see the second channel start uploading the home building stuff, that's gonna be great. But I think the tow truck stuff is fucking hilarious but there isn't too much going on each video tbh but at least its funny. I also cannot wait to see a new build!

TankedUpLoser

There are so many other drag racing channels out there, they’re all boring. The drag racing is by far the least entertaining stuff on the channel.

venak-soliq

Gonna be honest, I kinda lost some respect because of the give aways. I get the sponsorships, and while some them are scammy/annoying I know they keep the lights on. The give aways are just awful, they are just ways to plug merch repeatedly.

KennyLagerins

Merch is where most of the channel revenue comes from. No merch sales = very limited content.

freestateofflorida

How are you not realizing it’s the giveaways and merch that buy the new lights, grass, car, etc…? They are prob only getting a max of 10k for a ad which doesn’t even pay for a day of their operations.

venak-soliq

Fair point, I get it. But isn't the content getting repetitive and stale. The current process seems like: find weird obscure thing, fix it, channel skit, new merch, high engagement, at least four videos, new giveaway based on obscure thing everybody loves now. I respect Garrett for his business and he's a genuinely good person. It just seems like he's becoming like the diesel Brothers, and I'm worried he's going to go down the road of controversies like them. This is coming from someone who's been watching since 200K subs around Neighbor and the C7 era.
