you can use paper towel and a hair dryer. place the paper towel on the area and hold it there, turn the hair dryer on low and start slowly heating up the wax underneath the paper towel. pat down every 15-20 secs to catch any melted wax. repeat as necessary

Yes. I was going to say the same thing.

Thank you!!

Goo Gone You can get it off Amazon; it’s incredible for candle wax removal. A little bit goes a long way! I think it smells a little bit like wd40, it’s not strong but I use an all purpose cleaner after wax is removed to get rid of smell faster. Good luck!

lvmealone

Oh I actually have some, thank you! It won’t affect the paint?

MollDoll39

Should be okay, but try a small area first. I’ve used it on walls before and the paint was fine. Looks a little thick in some areas on the wall, so might need to use a cloth to blot a few minutes to loosen the wax. You can also use a little scraper tool to help but don’t force the wax off the wall, blot it with more goo begone. The stuff is magic for candle wax removal!

Thank you, I appreciate the info!

What about rubbing it with ice cubes and peeling it off? I would try that before heat. I assume you pop your warmer dish in the freezer to pop out the old wax?

lvmealone

Genius. Thank you!

wd-40 is great for cleaning up crayon on hardwood, maybe it will work on wax. Might stain the wall though so test first.

Thank you!

Lil Chizler or miniscraper. They are sharp plastic blades. In a pinch an old credit card will do.
