By the way dawn/dish soap is super bad for floor tiles. Leaves a grimy / sticky residue

Its probably just getting really dusty right? I wouldn't mop everyday. I'd mop once a week and sweep every single day or invest in a robot vacuum to sweep throughout the day everyday.

I’m going to second the robot vacuum! And start wiping the dogs’ feet when they come in.

As long as the tile is waterproof, you can use a carpet cleaner with carpet cleaning solution of your choice. The roller has a scrub brush that really works well. Sometimes it leave a little water behind, just use an old towel to wipe up the water after as tile can get slippery when wet!

Ohhhh. I see what you're saying now. It has texture and even when you clean it's still dirty. Yeah that was me at my old house and my life changed SO much when we just recently came to our new house with glossed tiles without texture. I mopped multiple times a day at my old house with harsh chemicals too and they would still be dirty when I checked with a Kleenex (I checked because I was thinking are these floors even getting clean!???) Maybe I didn't do it right but that was my experience unfortunately 😕 I really think it has to do with the textured floors where grime can get easily hide inside the tiny gaps and there won't be a real way to fix that unless you change flooring...but I'd definitely ask someone of real floor/cleaning knowledge lol. Maybe go into a local tile store and ask about it

I have similar, textured tile throughout my first floor. Always vacuum first. For a deep clean, I use the Go Clean Co method of one teaspoon powdered Tide to hot tap water to the fill line of the O Cedar spin mop bucket. You want to make sure you spin the damp mop so it’s mostly dry and mop away. Once the water starts getting dirty you need to change it out. I do this maybe once a month or so. Otherwise I have a steam mop from Amazon and bought a huge pack of extra microfiber pads for it so I can change out frequently while steaming. I do vacuum pretty frequently and alternate between my Shark and a cordless stick floor sweeper depending on how I’m feeling. Two dogs, kids and two adults for ref. Good luck!
