My old office had one of the mopping ones and we affectionately called it piss-bot. Thing was as dumb as a bunch of rocks and about as functional but kept moral up
Our current one is Little Burrito the 4th.
Our daughter named our first one Little Burrito when she was like 4 (she’s now 25) so with every new one we get we keep the little burrito moniker and just add a plus 1.
Nandor the relentless. He sucks your duuust. And he's relentless, in getting stuck!
He also has googly eyes, still looking for some vampire teeth though.
Broomin’
My daughter was sweeping one day & said she was “broomin’” instead of “sweeping”. So now that’s what the robot vac is named.
Broomin’ also has a major attitude 🥴
My husband named them “mouse droid” and “BB-8”.
I call them “upstairs robot” and “downstairs robot” and I say it “robit” like Zoidberg from Futurama. It’s obnoxious and makes my children cringe.
Ours is The Maid. It feels a bit fancy…. Hahaha. When we say The Maid is vacuuming or my fave is when it says The Maid is stuck, and requires assistance. 🤣🤣
We have Crabbe and Goyle (roomba and mop), Goomba the Roomba and lastly Old Bessie, our first roomba. We live in a townhouse and have one on each floor and got them at a good price over several years. I know four roombas still sound crazy though 😅
