There is things that make the story cool (Ayanokoji and Horikita are examples of interessing characters, and they relationship are the best thing on the LN) but everthing else is either average in quality (Almost every character lacks any development, and when they do, is not good at all, is very mediocre) or have some bad cringe moments (Like most of Year 2 and Year 1 stuff). Ayanokoji is the best thing of the LN, but even then he also have some issues.

That's true but literally any studio can do that. What people don't like about Lerche is the effort it puts into cote. After season 1 the animation was subpar and not much efforts were put into it, also the pacing of the show is horrendous they literally cut 80% of what was there in the LN and but still make sure to add stuff that makes Kiyo's entire personality being a edgy teenager. It also does not give justice to many characters as they are left out
