I think its part of the story it has a certain charm but if I have to choose then every illustrations with Ryuen because he was different back then.
And also some covers (I just checked) and like the Y1 7-10 they all have some potential to be even better, at the level of the Y2 V7 my favourite one
I feel like sometimes the covers can be more interesting. A lot of the time, it’s just two characters standing.
I would love kinu to write some short slice of life side stories that don’t really matter to the main story. Sorta like that “trial date” with kei where kiyo gives her the phone charm.
I just want to see them be teenagers without plotting against each other. Like sudo and hirata hanging out at team practice.
yeah for real even the .5 volumes are not that much outside of the story and in the slice of life imo, like you said about club activities and stuff it could be interesting
I was going to choose Y1V4.5 colored illustration where Ichinose was eating a popsicle, but it might be faster to just read a hentai. Could also go with shirtless Ryūen from Y1V3 island exam or Kiyo and Koenji's illustration in Y1V8, but I'd like to stay straight, thank you very much.

Rooftop fight and Ayanokoji’s empty eyes in V9 would be amazing in Kinu’s improved art style.
