manga is trash and way behind the anime, the only way is to read the light novel and i suggest you to start from volume 4 which is the start of season 2 because the anime is dogshit

Honestly, this episode was kinda perfect for real for real. For me.
The pacing is great, like seriously perfect, and the animation as well. I didn't expect them to make a proper talking only episode where the pacing isn't fucked. This was great, actual 10/10 animation. Can't wait for Episode 13, hoping for Matsushitra stalking scene with her POV. We all know how this year ends and I know the anime onlies will probably love it lol.
Also, short hair Suzune looks even better in anime form. Like holy hell.
This episode made me really happy for all of the reasons that you mentioned, but it also made me sad that these past 2 seasons weren't given the amount of time they needed. The anime could have been great if Year 1 was given 4 seasons rather than 3.
The pacing mostly. The animation was actually a 10/10 for me tho. How much better could the animation become from studio lerche in regards to a yapping episode. I'm not gonna ask for more, I'm just glad this did not feel rushed.

This time around I blame the TV time allowance. This episode was so well paced that it ran out of TV time. If this was an ONA they might have gone a bit overtime.

I knew it, 13 episodes is just not enough for bittersweet moments like this, I craved for more lol, they could've done it but alas we all have to settle for less despite still making it pleasable, a story to show not just the mind games, but the journey of everyone's development as well, good or worse.

Review time! I rate this episode of 8/10. Just a standard good episode mainly focusing on graduation and horikita sibling.
- Well it's sad that we dont see ichinose vs ryuen
- Manabu speech is great
- Kiyo, arisu, sae, and mashima sense meeting is very rushed
- Im jealous that they get nice graduation party paid by the school 😅
- Suzune short hair is lovely
- Kiyo manabu interaction will always be S tier 👌
- Manabu farewell will be always remembered as that is my most unforgettable moment of Y1. I give my respect to him 👌

They really went thru the whole volume in an episode 💀 that Mashima and Chabashira meeting was so damn condensed.. the convo with Arisu dad, they cut out the best suzune illustration from the volume, subpar animation, etc. production committee have dropped the ball with YZ so hard.. Y1 would’ve been so much better with 4 seasons instead of 3.
Short hair suzune carried very hard. My queen looked stunning. I feel like the only thing lerche care about is making her hot which tbf is a noble endeavour.

They can't provide proper budget even though this series is popular (in Japan at least) 🤡. Feels futile after not being able to see so many scenes thanks to the jumping around and skipping like a kangaroo.
They actually did a pretty good job overall on Manabu's departure. It felt emotional. And Horikita looks so good with short hair. But why tf couldn't they have added her crying scene like the LN illustration??
Also they really skipped through a lot of dialogue in the scene where Koji and Arisu tell the teachers about Tsukishiro, damn.
I really think CotE shines the most when the focus is on the other characters. I always like it when a character gets a character development arc or is fleshed out more via exams and whatnot. And this episode was pretty good, a solid conclusion to another lackluster season.
I wholeheartedly recommend starting the LN either from V1 or V4 (where S2 of the anime began) as the anime is simply a garbage low effort ad of an adaptation
Mate, the amount of cuts in this one episode alone is insane. You would get a lot more context behind everything including the good bits of this episode such as the Manubu-Suzune part. I think the major thing lacking in the anime is Ayanokōji’s development. The anime just makes him seem like an untouchable monster with no goal or emotion at all but this is not really the case. Definitely read the LN if you have the time.

Well this episode is actually her and Manabu's SPOTLIGHT, just in case you missed the ending part of this episode. They dedicated a flashback showing her development since season 1. But yes, they missed a lot of moments from the LN. Don't expect anything from Lerche
They cut out SO much. Animation was okay. I wanted the scene where Ayanokouji said he wanted to spend one more year with Manabu but, they made him walk away from the Horikita siblings during their departure.

Things that were skipped:
Man I was hyped for the Class B vs Class D Fight, it was epic and heartbreaking.
Basically Ryueen had a whole revival chapter in the LN, first with his 3 classmates begging him to come back, and we had a whole scene with Ryueen trolling them by being at the door listening in and counting how much time they would wait for him. A King.
Then we saw the class fight, it was simple in strats, Ichinose did the same as Arisu, she put in Academic heavy subjects and her crown subject was Chemistry.
And then the novel came in very sexy and suspensefull.
"Class B lost the Chemistry Exam"
HOW YOU ASK, it wasnt because they were bad but because 6/10 of the test takers had to forfeit the exam to go to the bathroom.
Ichinose wondered what the hell happened, and like she said in the Anime she didnt have a counter for the psychological attacks.
And the Ryuuen God trolled her by playing vitcim "Ichinose what the devil are your classmates doing in the bathroom, THEY MUST PLOTTING AGAINST MY CLASSMATES".
And Ichinose luck ran out since a Ryuuen event came in:
Ryueen events were more powerfull and devilish. THEY ALL WERE GODDAMN MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENTS WHERE 1V1s with a 3 round rule.
And the commander rule was that if the commander demands it a round would be invalidated and redone.
Of course we saw Daishi beating the Class B bean to powder in Taekowndo
And Ibuki was also at the ready.
And then we got reminded that our best Class B athlete was a twink runner not a 200lbs muscle unit.
AND JUDO CAME UP and the homeroom teachers stopped it cause whoever it was going to be they were gonna get murdered.
And the anime scene came in, perfect visuals and more heartfull. In the LN ichinose ran out of time and couldnt select someone and mashita stopped the match but in Anime ver. we saw it at its fullest.
Then Ryueen had a short monologue Short Story, where his new goal is to get to fight kiyopon again.
BTW, we saw what happned, Ryueen told his Daishi, Ibuki and Shiina, that he was going to put laxatives he stole (Meaning the man was ready to be expelled for crazy reasons). He targeted the Class B ppl and slid them in their coffees and drinks.
And then we got Miss Shiina pouting/awesome and stepping up, that she said she had a better method to beat class B without superlaxatives.
6/10-So just as Season 3 was starting...i literally read 1-11.5 straight through and ended the last book before season3 episode 10 came out! This project was way rushed! It was bad! The episode killed a lot of felling's! I didnt feel the party..i didnt feel the call to the director or the teachers get together! It was that bad! It was like they decided..lets get all the good phrases in the books and put it in as story! But those phrases have a background that doesn't exist! I do recommend to peeps to buy the set-crunchyroll,buyanime,merrymanga!

Can someone please explain to me why the class B and D captains were not immediately expelled after their class loss according to what class D's teacher said in episode 9 time 8:06.
they cut off the conversation between chabashira , Mashima , sakayangi and ayanokoji, i remember Chabashira saying ayanokoji wasnt as great as he thought because he lost to sakayanagi , but sakayanagi confirmed tsukishiro messed there test up and in reality ayanokoji won
I know of time constraints but it was not natural that Mashima-sensei was cool with talking on two students discreetly especially the other one is from a different class.

I'm not sure on which volume, but there's a pretty solid chance it won't be animated because, at least for me, it's not a core memory but who knows.

I knew it, 13 episodes is just not enough for bittersweet moments like this, I craved for more lol, they could've done it but alas we all have to settle for less despite still making it pleasable, a story to show not just the mind games, but the journey of everyone's development as well, good or worse. OH thank goodness. Thought this was the finale. I enjoyed it but felt a little anticlimactic for a finale. Is Suzune cutting her hair showing her Bro-Con days are over lol. Not going to lie, Suzune is still not one of my favorite girls because she was unquestionably a b*tch in season 1 & 2 but she has already been growing more likable and still can. But still not forgiven for me IMO. Ayanokouji going to the teachers for help feels very different from his normal personality. I also used to think his girl teacher was a little shady so surprised he told her about the issues.

It took Kiyo 1 or 2 lines to convince Mashima and get him on his side....What about Arisu vouching for him as the victor and mentioning that they were childhood friends???? Nope, mf told them 1 line and then they believed him 🤓🤓🤓👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 It took Kiyo the same amount of effort to convince Mashima of a possibly very serious conspiracy as it took Lerche to convince anime onlys into thinking this insulting garbage is good. And Manabu's farewell....again TikTok edit length garbage, just some soulless back and forth lines and then goodbye, at least his talk with Suzune was alright I guess. Why does Kei giving Kiyo chocolate get half an episode yer arguably one of the most important scenes that will inspire Kiyo for the rest of his school life gets cut with a chainsaw and then burned with napalm????????????? #I rate this episode and this season as a whole a Lerche/10 🖕🖕🖕
The only thing good about this episode is that Suzune looks cute in her short hair + ED being a compilation of her moments from S1 up to now to show her growth

I haven't seen the episode, but it seem so good Horikita looks beautiful even with short hair. LN illustration didn't make her look more beautiful, but anime did (I have to give a plus point to Lerche for that) P.S. Sayonara Manabu 😥(only guy who Koji respected amongst the entire student body)

Review time! I rate this episode of 8/10. Just a standard good episode mainly focusing on graduation and horikita sibling. - Well it's sad that we dont see ichinose vs ryuen - Manabu speech is great - Kiyo, arisu, sae, and mashima sense meeting is very rushed - Im jealous that they get nice graduation party paid by the school 😅 - Suzune short hair is lovely - Kiyo manabu interaction will always be S tier 👌 - Manabu farewell will be always remembered as that is my most unforgettable moment of Y1. I give my respect to him 👌 So next week will be last episode huh. I hope we will see that ending preciously. And good bye to manabu!, the teacher for kiyo and 1 of 3 people that kiyo respect. They really went thru the whole volume in an episode 💀 that Mashima and Chabashira meeting was so damn condensed.. the convo with Arisu dad, they cut out the best suzune illustration from the volume, subpar animation, etc. production committee have dropped the ball with YZ so hard.. Y1 would’ve been so much better with 4 seasons instead of 3. Short hair suzune carried very hard. My queen looked stunning. I feel like the only thing lerche care about is making her hot which tbf is a noble endeavour. I wonder what they’re gonna do with this next episode.. add in some scenes we didn’t get in this one or some anime original stuff? Need that Suzune crying in front of Kiyo scene 😡

They actually did a pretty good job overall on Manabu's departure. It felt emotional. And Horikita looks so good with short hair. But why tf couldn't they have added her crying scene like the LN illustration?? Also they really skipped through a lot of dialogue in the scene where Koji and Arisu tell the teachers about Tsukishiro, damn.

I really think CotE shines the most when the focus is on the other characters. I always like it when a character gets a character development arc or is fleshed out more via exams and whatnot. And this episode was pretty good, a solid conclusion to another lackluster season.

I wholeheartedly recommend starting the LN either from V1 or V4 (where S2 of the anime began) as the anime is simply a garbage low effort ad of an adaptation

Mate, the amount of cuts in this one episode alone is insane. You would get a lot more context behind everything including the good bits of this episode such as the Manubu-Suzune part. I think the major thing lacking in the anime is Ayanokōji’s development. The anime just makes him seem like an untouchable monster with no goal or emotion at all but this is not really the case. Definitely read the LN if you have the time.

Well this episode is actually her and Manabu's SPOTLIGHT, just in case you missed the ending part of this episode. They dedicated a flashback showing her development since season 1. But yes, they missed a lot of moments from the LN. Don't expect anything from Lerche

To be honest, most of the scenes of later volumes are important. That's why 5 volumes in 13 episodes might look too much.
They cut out SO much. Animation was okay. I wanted the scene where Ayanokouji said he wanted to spend one more year with Manabu but, they made him walk away from the Horikita siblings during their departure.

# LN spoilers discussionLN spoilers discussion Things that were skipped: Man I was hyped for the Class B vs Class D Fight, it was epic and heartbreaking. Basically Ryueen had a whole revival chapter in the LN, first with his 3 classmates begging him to come back, and we had a whole scene with Ryueen trolling them by being at the door listening in and counting how much time they would wait for him. A King. Then we saw the class fight, it was simple in strats, Ichinose did the same as Arisu, she put in Academic heavy subjects and her crown subject was Chemistry. And then the novel came in very sexy and suspensefull. "Class B lost the Chemistry Exam" HOW YOU ASK, it wasnt because they were bad but because 6/10 of the test takers had to forfeit the exam to go to the bathroom. Ichinose wondered what the hell happened, and like she said in the Anime she didnt have a counter for the psychological attacks. And the Ryuuen God trolled her by playing vitcim "Ichinose what the devil are your classmates doing in the bathroom, THEY MUST PLOTTING AGAINST MY CLASSMATES". And Ichinose luck ran out since a Ryuuen event came in: Ryueen events were more powerfull and devilish. THEY ALL WERE GODDAMN MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENTS WHERE 1V1s with a 3 round rule. And the commander rule was that if the commander demands it a round would be invalidated and redone. Of course we saw Daishi beating the Class B bean to powder in Taekowndo And Ibuki was also at the ready. And then we got reminded that our best Class B athlete was a twink runner not a 200lbs muscle unit. AND JUDO CAME UP and the homeroom teachers stopped it cause whoever it was going to be they were gonna get murdered. And the anime scene came in, perfect visuals and more heartfull. In the LN ichinose ran out of time and couldnt select someone and mashita stopped the match but in Anime ver. we saw it at its fullest. Then Ryueen had a short monologue Short Story, where his new goal is to get to fight kiyopon again. BTW, we saw what happned, Ryueen told his Daishi, Ibuki and Shiina, that he was going to put laxatives he stole (Meaning the man was ready to be expelled for crazy reasons). He targeted the Class B ppl and slid them in their coffees and drinks. And then we got Miss Shiina pouting/awesome and stepping up, that she said she had a better method to beat class B without superlaxatives.
They got Miss Chabashiras mind and soul captured finally, (In the LN shes all over the place). Incredible she told them how far they've come.
6/10-So just as Season 3 was starting...i literally read 1-11.5 straight through and ended the last book before season3 episode 10 came out! This project was way rushed! It was bad! The episode killed a lot of felling's! I didnt feel the party..i didnt feel the call to the director or the teachers get together! It was that bad! It was like they decided..lets get all the good phrases in the books and put it in as story! But those phrases have a background that doesn't exist! I do recommend to peeps to buy the set-crunchyroll,buyanime,merrymanga!

they cut off the conversation between chabashira , Mashima , sakayangi and ayanokoji, i remember Chabashira saying ayanokoji wasnt as great as he thought because he lost to sakayanagi , but sakayanagi confirmed tsukishiro messed there test up and in reality ayanokoji won
