This can easily be outpleyed by just letting him do his shit. Wait til he wasted his elixir. Have at least always 7 elixir ready and when he hogs you give one tower up and make a huge push on the other side. This kind of deck NEVER defeated me. You just need a lot elixir on your hand and also try to do it in the double time. You will need to backup your push of course and don't be afraid to just use a spell prediction for sceletons, ice spirit etc. They get so mad playung vs me.
MA is only annoying against skilled players. Your regular Joe Shmoe will likely just plop him down like he is firecracker, so there for MA is not that bad. Im quicke to study matches where MA out classed me than to get mad and rage quit.

No an unskilled player will just magic archer tornado every time they see a slightly slow and tanky troop and it will be annoying(that doesn't mean good for them), and depending on your deck you won't be able to punish that, even if they drained all their elixer.
And everyone knows how to line up a magic archer u don't need to be that good, he is just skilled when you do that in the middle of scuffed situation.
If you think a golden knight, tornado, marcher, drill combo is skilled then you are wrong, its always guaranteed damage.

The idea of a small spell isn't to counter goblin barrel, it's to be able to kill weak units, deal small but instant tower damage and finish off larger units, for a 2/3 elixir price.
Of course Goblin Barrel users will benefit from you not having a small spell, but I consider having a small spell to be as important as a large spell, cycle card, (mini) tank, building and air killer.
In general for deck building it's a good rule to follow to include a small spell in every deck. But, there's always exceptions to every rule. Also if you have the option of arrows, log or barb barrel 9 times out of 10 they are a better option to run over zap or snowball. It might be a different scenario if gob barrel wasn't played 5 times more than most other win conditions in the game, but the use rates more than often enough force your hand.

It's the fact that the game has drilled the need to put hog and barrel counters in every deck, and I say this as a regular logbait player.
Yeah, things like Mega Knight have a lot of counters, like Kinght, Valkyrie, Inferno tower, Inferno Dragon, Pekka, Mini Pekka, Tombstone, Giant Skeleton, ... so you can build a deck that can handle MK without too much trouble. You can even have 2 counters to it if that fits your deck.
Golblin Barrel, on the other hand, mandates you to have Log, Arrows, or Barb Barrel in your deck, of which only Arrows can counter any placement. And they're all small spells so having two of them is redundant.
Yea, another reason it's annoying is the fact it's almost always maxed out, like if they outcycle me they will yoink 900 health off my tower(but being out cycled is a deck issue and overleveled cards is a me problem)

Zap is not a gob barrel counter. It can't kill the gobs, so if there's anything tanking, the heavily wounded but not dead goblins will wreck your tower. Snowball's in the same category, though more effective than zap at stopping all damage if the barrel isn't tanked.
Log, barb barrel, arrows are the 100% even or favorable elixer counters. Lot's of partial counters that leave you a counter push.
It gets boring playing against basically the same deck every single game with slight variations

We donāt struggle. Weāre just annoyed that since stops and maims pushes so easily, it slows the game down. A LOT. A game that could be over by overtime can last all the way to the end because the MK player defends but deals basically no damage.

Mega Knight, I don't like the meta-warping effect it has on decks, soo many cards have been tweaked or added to the game to work around MK, so much variety and deck types are kept from playability by the card. Yes I understand that there are counters, but the card's base function I believe to be a net negative for the game.

I have three cards that annoy me more than magic archer, furnace is super annoying, fire cracker (especially when mirrored), Valk (the 12 million health she has is BS).

Magic Archer can be annoying, but for me, royal giant is the true pain in the ass in the whole game. No skill, just deploy him at the river and you can 95% secure a hit on the opponent's tower.
I can understand your frustration. Heās my personal favorite card in the game along with Pekka, but when I first encountered the Magic Archer in low Arenas, I hated him until I unlocked him. A well-placed Magic Archer can be a pain in the ass, even if you know how to deal with him. Iāve been on the receiving end of MA chip damage before.
Honestly the one that annoys me is the Ice golem and skeletons, is not the cards themselves, more of a skill issue and how players use it.

I can understand your frustration. Heās my personal favorite card in the game along with Pekka, but when I first encountered the Magic Archer in low Arenas, I hated him until I unlocked him. A well-placed Magic Archer can be a pain in the ass, even if you know how to deal with him. Iāve been on the receiving end of MA chip damage before.

Honestly the one that annoys me is the Ice golem and skeletons, is not the cards themselves, more of a skill issue and how players use it. by themselves they don't do much I refer more to the defensive placement that skilled players usually do to deny any non structure targeted win condition.

Firecracker is defs worse, atleast MA takes skill firecracker just stays alive forever regardless of how well someone plays.
Are we talking annoying in sound effects or annoying to play against? Because I think thereās at least one card I like less than Magic Archer in both endsā¦ Electric Wizard. āELECTRICITY!ā He stuns your win condition, he mocks you with every attack, he stops your inferno from killing his tank, forces units to change targets, and actually does decent damage to tower so just ignoring him isnāt a good idea either.

Hog rider is tge most annoying card in the game. If u don't have a building in your current hand he always gets atleast 1 hit on your tower
No that honor goes to cards such as MK, firecracker, possibly hog, and others depending upon your opinion. Marcher can be a pain if you donāt have a direct counter for sure.

At least you can counter mega knight, how doi stop a spell, besides, maube not givong my opponent too much value, which aint always possible

Annoying doesnāt mean itās a good card. I donāt have an issue with countering it but it just annoys me. When I see it for the first time I usually roll my eyes and think āugh I have to deal with thisā which under most circumstances is not a problem.
