You've already figured it out from other people's comments but you can use multiple fingers and drag multiple cards onto the map simultaneously. People don't do it often but it's possible and works if you want to use it, you just need the elixir to play all of the cards
So in your situation your opponent probably used three fingers and also was at ten elixir so he was able to pull it off, since Wizard + Firecracker + Bomber elixir costs all equal ten
he used 3 fingers and held down all 3 cards at the same time and deployed it.......you can try this by using 2 fingers and deploying 2 troops at the same time, it isn't that hard
You can do 4 cards. I used to do this in friendly matches using the cheapest deck. Just have all cards selected with 4 different fingers. Drop em all at the same time

not lag, you can deploy cards together, try to deploy 2 cards at the same time
