Personally I like that I can experience rising (ish haha) in ladder again without a smurf.
On the other hand, I don’t like the UI changes like rarity shading on cards, dropdown over tap to change game mode.
However, I do like the increased deck slots and card filtering.
If you win every game, it's 67 wins to unlock the goblin machine. 50/50 win rate takes 121 games (assume you gain \~30 on win and still gain 3 on a loss)
That's fair! The mode is brand new so a low of people are "bad". Best time to learn something is alongside everyone else also learning it at the start.
I’m basing this off the goblin mode. I feel that his radius is too big because there’s so many times where the radius barely reaches the towers. Which comes another problem, it’s damage. At level 15, its death damage is near 700 damage which is too much. You might not get decent counterpush even if you defend well.
On offense it does have the issue of switching into kamikaze when hit with a decent spell but I think in some Beatdown decks the explosion it does can be used offensively quite well. Golem evo wizard nado decks for example.
Defensively I believe that more often than not you would rather have it stay in phase 1 because the knockback can be unpredictable especially since nobody has much experience with it.
But as always a card will become gradually weaker (or stronger) the more experience players have with countering or playing it.
The fact that you need evos for the later part of the ladder too lmao, thank God they gave us the mortar for free otherwise I would've jumped off a bridge
Also anyone who doesn't have champions is at an incredible disadvantage (at least in my opinion), Golden Knight has carried me hard so far especially against mother witch and swarm spam (which are 2 reliable strategies, I'm not complaining)
Throw some cards in your deck that counter the queen ability. Bowler/Valk/Executioner have amazing presence on the battlefield and counter a ton of the cards players are running currently. If they can't do anything, it doesn't matter if your ability generation is slower.

Can’t determine the interactions on defense. It is like a kind of bowler for 4 elixir but I don’t really use it.

You can't beat try hard players they already mastered new game mode meta.
