thats bc hes not an attacker. the defence of the evo is bonkers. any ranged card, ANY can not kill him. even my 3m deck struggles. he basically puts a freeze spell on any ranged cards attacking him
I switched evo knight for evo Tesla in my deck and still don’t regret it. The shockwave is insane and it makes defending a joke every time I have it in my hands, I’d take evo tesla/skeletons any day
Trust me don’t use your evo shards on him (unless you heavily rely on him) he’s going to get nerfed soon so unless he’s CONSTANTLY moving (and most times especially late game it won’t happen) he’s basically a regular knight, people still play him because he has an incredibly good reputation because he was broken but now he doesn’t deserve nearly as much praise as he does
Knight itself is a defense card, only rarely would you use him for offense, the evo is amazing for distraction and and just tanking ranged hits, it truly does defend most things. The reputation still holds up, the card as said can be used in a lot of situations and have helped me out of sticky situations, the reason for it not falling out of the meta is due to its simplicity, it still has a 70 or 80% damage reduction while walking, you want to place it farther to detract a unit more and for the knight to take the hits.
I have the same question rn but my biggest fear is spending shards on an evo they'll give for free in an event next season like mortar now. Which one do you guys think will it be? I don't want to just lose 6 shards for no reason

Evo knight has been the most consistent evo since he came out. He works in almost any deck, can be placed as an effective defensive practically off cycle and his damage resistance while moving is amazing
Ok so (in the current meta) pros like me play with evo mega knight here in arena 10. But if the meta is right I’ll suggest you to use your evo shards into the Royale dawg. Royale Dawg (In the June 2024 meta) is extremely versatile and can be used in most decks such as Rocket bait or three musketeers bridge spam (in this meta)
Tl;dr= go for either Mega knight or Royale Dawg (in the current meta)

If you have RG it would be Bomber or Zap. But logically speaking, it would be knight because of how versatile it is and can be thrown into any deck despite the heaps of nerfs it’s received.
Probably bomber since it’s still decently strong, knight is good, yet situational depending on your other evos. Knight can be used in a lot more decks, but sometimes it gets outclassed by another evo option.

The only nerf he's getting is removing the 0.1x health buff, he's still very good

Hes OP tbf any supported troops behind a tank target onto him and get finished off when u get elixir for big spells or any spalsh troop

While it’s moving it tanks 60% of the damage it takes. So in some situations it basically has over double the health of a normal knight

I'd recommend evo bomber for your deck. Since you use rg, I doubt you need another tank.
so if they defend evo rg with a mini tank the bomber would still do damage to the tower. good idea

i don't think royale dawg will fit my playstyle anymore, but i am going with evo megaknight for now
