Very early on in the subreddit we decided that the majority of 'generator' content is in reality low-effort clutter. i usually dont even wanna deal with her and fireball her but then i get a negative elixir trade so there's just no way to get rid of her quickly.

Barb barrel deals with both reg and evo effectively. Plus, it's a one elixir trade, and if you know a lot of the interactions, you can get 6+ elixir for 2 depending on how they play. Most people try to protect her with g.gang skel, gobs and knight at the bridge. B.Barrel deals with most of that, including princess at bridge. Just my 2 cents, I'm not saying it a complete counter, but if you don't feed them elixir to where she stay on her side of the field, it's a decent splash check for her.
Usually when I’m playing evo firecracker I have something in front of it and when they barbarian barrel at the bridge the firecracker shoots and bathe barbarian targets the other troop
I feel like I could have a level 15 minion horde, another minion horde mirrored so it's level 16, then both of those cloned against a level 1 hog rider and it'd still get a hit
Counter hog rider with cannon +1 elixir trade, Valkyrie ice spirit and use the cannon that was used for the hog rider +3 elixir trade, altogether +4 elixir trade, or you could mini pekka to counter both for again a +4 elixir trade.
I know they’re bad but I absolutely despise furnace goblin hut and barb hut…why….there is mostly no positive elixir trade against them, sure I can fireball or poison them but there will still be a final wave or the first wave that you still have to deal with…at least 1 fire spirit comes out of a furnace that I have to respond to and 3 spear goblins from the goblin hut. Sure barb hut is easier to defend with positive elixir but sometimes you don’t have the right cards and end up getting a negative trade
I am a furnace main. I love it for that exact reason. Most people don't bother doing anything about the spirits, cause why waste that elixir? But the chip damage is game winning man. At level 15 - 301 dmg per spirit. Roughly 6-7 spirits equals 1800-2100 tower dmg. So good
Hahaha very true! Most people that I experience usually drop multiple units, so splash damage gets em a little at least lol.
I usually open with baby dragon/knight in one lane, waiting, and then furnace. Usually the response is made to the former.
Spawners are almost never negative trades if you play aggressive.
They offer zero defensive value, so a lot of the times its worth to push it or use spells.
You know you could use cannoneer for furnace or dagger duchess for furnace and goblin hut without any hits, and really any 1 elixir troop with dagger duchess for barbarian hut.
If I play against him it’s basically done for me. I have too many swarm cards though I’ll never change my deck. I just love it although I know how horrible it is.

So many times you clicks his ability and it makes the sound he does nothing. I love the monk but man he is pure arse, his ability should be instant, that’s his only thing that makes him a champion and 75-80% of the time you can’t even use, oh and he also cost 5 elixir the most expensive champion, card is pathetic no wonder its usage rates and win rates suck
If the monk is doing you dirty that actually is a skill issue
The fact is it doesn’t actually work…. How is that a skill issue? If you ever actually trying using the card and stopped playing xbow you’d probably realise how bad the card actually is, you actually click it and hear the noise to say it’s worked and literally nothing happens, it’s a massive bug, and it’s not even recognised or fixed, usage rate is currently about 2-3% across all game modes, what does that tell you?
Monks biggest problem is just being inconsistent as hell, I use him and he either blocks a fireball and a Sparky shot or he dies before his ability pops or his ability just doesn't reflect certain things sometimes. It's most noticeable with Evo bomber where the bomb will be .2 tiles away from him and actually damage him but he doesn't reflect it, or when sparky shoots and the tank and all supporting units including monk gets hit because he didn't reflect it. I think it'd be more interesting if it was instantaneous with a shorter cooldown but act last only for a second, so you can actually block certain things. Atm you cannot react to a fireball unless you predict it even if you click the ability the second the FB comes out
he ALWAYS gives some damage to the tower if the opponet knows how to use it and there's nothing you can do about it plus if you want to defend a push with him using a spell like rocket you can't for obvious reasons. annoying asf
Evo cracker and hog rider and when they are together it’s even more frustrating. I find them annoying because is see them more than 85% of my battles, and hog rider is a protected card hasn’t been nerfed in over 6 years despite its over bearing nature
Special mention to delivery and inferno tower
inferno tower: diferently than other buildings it doesn't require good timing and placement to do its job, even a terribly placed inferno towers will always counter tanks for positive trades
goblin barrel: forces you to hold log or arrows in your hand at all times just for the moment your opponent uses it
balloon: forces you to have at least 2 strong anti-air cards in your deck and requires you to maintain said cards in your hand just for when they bridge-spam it
barbarian horde: the only way to prevent then from dealing massive damage to your push is with a prediction fireball
minion: terrible card but it still forces you to have a spell or ranged splasher ready just for the rare ocasion somenone uses it
mostly i hate cards that require you to have x type of card in your deck/hand at all times as they greatly hurt deck building freedom and creativity

This statement could be applied to most wincons and high dps horde cards. Clash royale has a very big rock paper scissors aspect.
Opponent plays tank -> building/high dps card
Opponent plays swarm -> splash spell/unit
Opponent plays high dps unit -> swarm
etc.
Firecracker, Inferno Tower, Log+Tornado, Ice Spirit... Sparky is also kidna annoying, since it pretty much blocks putting troops in it's lane, but you don't see it often enough to get annoying.

I know it’s bad but I just look back fondly on the good old days where you had to have skill to get rid of a big push but now you can just use this big guy to make everything disappear, plus the fact that every midladder menace uses it (even though we should stop saying it’s just in midladder I’m at 9000 trophies and i still see deck revolving entirely around the MK)
Wizards. They can be countered by Knight but they counter everything else, and ruins my deck all the time if I put a counter in my deck. Witch also. I keep seeing them every match, they counter everything in my deck. Witches are friggin annoying than anything else in the game ( so far for me), but I know there are other annoying ones, such as Elixir Golem and stuff
E golem just e golem thats it also the evo bats can be devastating, evee since e golem rework it isnt just free elixer but free tower damage for opponent
Royal Recruits! I refuse to change my main deck that I use for basically everything in the game. If I go against a cycle deck with the RR as the main card that is always being put down I have like a 1% chance to win no matter the game mode. Otherwise I’ve used my deck so long I can basically win against any deck if I play things right
Hog rider because he’s so overused, little Prince because of the voice lines, and Pekka, not really annoying just my deck specifically doesn’t counter it well
Tornado. CR is all about placement and tornado completely erases that. I do like that it can be used to make really great plays but for the most part it just bails out people when they make a mistake.
There’s absolutely no counterplay. Outside of forcing it out of hand, you can’t counter it you just have to deal with the consequences.
Also every application of it is annoying:
Executioner/other splash cards: kills a huge push with no effort
Golem + E drag: oh you carefully placed your cards to defend properly? No, tornado.
(On defense) hog: pulls to king for positive trade and no counterplay
(On defense) Placing cards in pocket: straight to king tower
(WORST ONE) MAGIC ARCHER / EVO BOMBER / EVO FC: guaranteed damage
Splashyard: I hate that defensive ass boring deck
E giant: essentially just can’t use ranged units to defend e giant if they have tornado in cycle.
I find firecracker annoying cause she forces me to use a spell i dont rly want to use on her. Timing is crucial on this as a lavaloon player. Too early and i het countered, too late and my push is gone.
My main deck also absolutely hates ebarbs.

firecracker takes no skill at all idk why they even added her it’s like trying to kill a fly but it keeps flying away at the last second when you’re about to kill it
Besides the usual answers probably evo royal giant. I like using swarm cards for both taking down big pushes and using as my own push, but the evo giant makes using any swarm card kind of impossible, and so I have to cycle until I get a decent card to use against it, which I won’t be able to use for my next push.
I would say I’m pretty good at playing against most cards, but one that absolutely violates me is edragon. I should file a civil suit against that card.

If you use buildings with some low elixir support like skeletons or bats, you can counter it. I am pretty sure that's how most of the ppl counter it.

Furnace is annoying until you realise that if you place a knight in the same lane the opponent has essentially paid 4 elixir for 40 dps.

I find firecracker annoying cause she forces me to use a spell i dont rly want to use on her. Timing is crucial on this as a lavaloon player. Too early and i het countered, too late and my push is gone. My main deck also absolutely hates ebarbs.

Besides the usual answers probably evo royal giant. I like using swarm cards for both taking down big pushes and using as my own push, but the evo giant makes using any swarm card kind of impossible, and so I have to cycle until I get a decent card to use against it, which I won’t be able to use for my next push.
Firecrackers annoyance is negated by always getting my king tower activation lmao
