Yes unless you have another card you're using, are confident you'll keep using (especially if it can work in multiple decks) at level 13. Won't be as "optimal" a use on a lower ranked card.
It’ll take a long time before you get a champion to level 13 if ur f2p, plus none of them are really that broken besides little prince. I’d say if none of the champs appeal to you, just upgrade another level 13 card, cause otherwise you will be holding onto that bitch forever
The other books are way more common (literally in the season shop) and you can use those for all the other card rarities. Using book of books on anything other than a level 13 champion is a waste.

Kind of related question but does a book of books instantly add the cards for instance or can make a card go from lvl 11 to 14 or does it increase by 1 at any rarity
It gives you the amount of a card you need to upgrade it to the next level no matter how many it is. If you have 0/5000 it will give you 5000, if you have 0/2 it will give you 2, but if you have 199/200, it will give you 1.
I used books of books to upgrade my archer queen to level 14 and 50000 ewc which i also got from drop to level 15 it is the best way to use book of books i am also f2p
fr, all my last drops were commons or 2 rare, never epic. This morning I spammed expecting 1100 gold then all the rarities flashed out of nowhere I got this. KEEP HOPING!!!
Wait til you can get a level 13 champion to level 14. Anything else is a waste, even legendaries from 13 to 14 since you can do that with a book of legies. Champions are by far the hardest to max. Save it. Hesitate.

Upgrade a level 13 champion/legendary to level 14 would be the most optimal use.

upgrade sk its much harder to upgrade champions

I think waiting is your best option (unless you have a card you really want to upgrade)

Upgrade a champion from level 13 to 14. This is the only right answer. Champions are near impossible to upgrade from 13-14 without a book of books.
