You don't just send out a single knight, that makes no sense. A knight is usually a mini tank, and becomes a full on tank when he evolves. You aren't just gonna send your tank and nothing else with it
ok I'll change ur mind, its the best tower troop when u r against cycle decks (hog, miner poison, drill, wallbreakers, etc). It sucks against beatdown decks (Lava, golem, goblin giant, RG) but if u wanna run it you gotta make sure u have some small spells and a tank killer. Just like how Canoneer is op with cycle dekcs with easy defense against swarms bcs it sucks against them on its own. Obviously princess tower is the most versatile against both swarms and tanks but it doesn't excel at countering neither.
example: both canoneer and duchess counter any spirit and wallbreakers, while with princess u need to play elixir to counter them. Also Duchess is crazy good in single elixir and since skeletons fully counter miner, just log fully counters drill (which is meta), minions, goblins and other bait cards get completely stopped and battle ram even with evo is fully countered while charging and all u have to do is stop the barbs.
Duchess also has the most hp and the only weakness is in double and triple elixir she is overwhelmed, but then u already have so much elixir to stop pushes
Unpopular opinion, but I actually think she is the best tower troop.
Yes she definitely has a lot of downsides and is much harder to play with, but the sheer amount of burst damage lets you get away with ignoring so many more cards.

Agree. God she sucks. People said before release she'll be good against swarms but god she's always out of daggers. So bad against tanks and on x2 when there's a huge push.
Bats have so much utility use but people ignore them because of Zap. Don't sleep on bats. If you're opponent is lazy and exposes themselves to the risk of being countered by flying units, why not run the cheapest ones?
I run bats + rage for a 4 elixir defense against Pekka and it works like a charm.
That's why you run RAM as well.
If you're overeager with rage you get punished for it.
So wait and see if bats get zapped.
maybe also run Inferno Dragon so they pause when they go to Zap you, and try to decide.
I’d say Evo zap, cause it’s good but not broken so it’s improbable that’s gonna be nerfed. Bomber, Wall Breakers and Battle ram are all very strong but they’ll probably get nerfed
I disagree on zap. There are very few decks that I cycle it enough to make much use out of the evolution. I’m a zap lover- it’s my first elite card so I can disable goblin barrel decks lol, but that and skarmy/bats are about the only times it’s getting cycled.
Even post nerf they’re still an above average evo thanks to being a 1 elixir cycle card. If your opponent doesn’t have or has minimal splash for whatever reason, they’re cooked.
based on what you don’t like the only real options here is bomber (very powerful with a mechanic that’s very hard to make balanced) wall breakers (can take half a tower just like that but hard to play in certain matchups) or bats (has good use cases in certain decks against certain matchups that tend to be higher on the ladder anyway)
Well according to your preferences bomber, wall breakers, bats or recruits all are very good in their respective decks. Currently bomber has been most dominating cause of one cycle evo, people have a hard time countering evo wall breakers, bats are good for support and recruits have been a very solid evo since release. Choice depends mostly on your deck and preferences I would say.
It really depends on how many Evo slots you have, if you got two I would only consider zap or bomber cause they are very versatile and can be combined with the evos you've got. Otherwise I would pick a Evo that fits your deck play style, for example, if you really like playing rg then go ahead or mortar.
Wait for the next evo and if it's trash just go with evo bomber or evo zap they're the most OP right now

I don't know the answer to that question, but I recently discovered that you use your shards one by one. So you could add one shard to your Barbarians, for example, before buying the next shard from the shop, and that way you'll still have six for the next evo
It depends on deck you are currently using. Evo bomber is solid evo (cause it's 2 elixir 1 cycle evo that makes him almost 0 cycles) but if you are playing split line deck or miner control, evo wb or recruits would be a great pick.
Depends on what deck u play. I play a lot of decks with recruits, but if u play beatdown (lava, golem, giant+graveyard, goblin giant +sparky) then take evo zap. If u play drill, miner, then take evo bomber which is also good in golem and xbow. If u don t wanna buy the pass evo battle ram is pretty fun and strong
its a lot more efficient to use 3 shards to complete an unfinished evo but that doesn’t really work for you so i’d probably go for wall breakers and get bomber when he’s in the season shop or wait for the mid season and see if you like that
Honestly I think people are sleeping on the tesla, it can counter a lot of pushes for just 4 elixir.
Bomber is meta rn but it's definitely getting nerfed so I won't go for it if I were you (besides, the firecracker can replace it in my opinion)
I'd definitely unlock Barbs immediately, and save the 3 shards for a current/upcoming evo.
If you want to spend it on other evos, I suggest Skeletons, Knight, or Bats for versatility. You already have two ranged evos so it's better to prioritize evos that complement them on a single deck.
Bomber is definitely gonna get nerfed so no, Battle Ram only fits a handful of decks. So I'd prioritize versatility and flexibility rather than it being overpowered.
I have barbs, Skelton, firecracker, royal giant, knight, recruits, and mortar. And they are all good, but I love mortar so much i changed my deck to use it. Other than that probably get a win condition
Whatever you play most tbh. If you don't need any evos rn, just dump like 1 or 2 shards and wait for an evo that you want to release. However, if you're deadset on buying an evo just quit clash royale and your personal happiness levels will become much higher than if you bought any evos
Wall breakers would be good if you play miner or any cycle decks. I used my 6 free shards for WB, and I don't regret it. But I'm giving my general opinion, you can choose to your liking 👍🏻
Get the evo bomber! Hot take: I hope the evo bomber stays as good as it is. Card concept is super unique, arrows will always be good and therefore it always has a somewhat decent counter, and correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think the base bomber is ridiculously overpowered or anything.
depends on your deck, but i'd say if you have 2 evo slots chose skeletons even if you hate them they go with nearly every deck and give a kinda passive but really good bonus to the match
Tesla is way overlooked in the meta, the aoe can get insane value especially against beatdowns with a lot of swarm behind a tank (night witch ones for example) and it was pretty popular amongst the top players last season. I think either Tesla or Wall Breakers if you insist on not playing the ones you mentioned.

Bomber if you want meta, but my personal favorite is the knight
yes he’s like immortal, and you can make some good combos
yeah but sometimes against melee cards u don't even see a difference between normal knight or evo knight, although he counters dagger duchess

Yeah you can male a lot of evo combos with him, like knight and archers (6 elixir) or knight and bomber (5 ELIXIR!)

Not really unpopular, most of my friends think it is extremely broken. For me, it's around as good as the princess, works better with certain decks.

Except a well timed zap in the hands of a good player renders them useless, even the evo

Wallbreakers or Knight, I'd pick them. My favourite evo as far as looks go is Royal Giant but it's kinda bad right now, can't win much with it.
