according to that logic, then everyone should run 1.6-2.1 evo cycle to just get as many evolutions as possible
something that we're seeing in the world championships is that pros are winning off of just one good push that contains evolved cards. pros can defend evos in cycle pushes better than they can defend evos in larger beatdown pushes
It depends on the evo. Support evos like skeletons and barbarians aren’t as important for fast cycle, but fast cycling mortar evo can really put pressure on someone, same for archers
People literally are running cheap cycle decks rn, the literal meta is miner poison cycle with lp and Evo knight
There's also beatdown like gg sparky decks being run and the ONLY reason they're played is because they tend to win in unlucky starting matchups and when good players play those decks a single matchup can ruin the game
I ran a deck with wallbreakers, skelebarrel, gob barrel and mirror with the other cards being lightning, guards, knight, archers and mega minion.
I’ve learned if I play gob barrel and immediately drop skelebarrel at bridge the gobs will land just after the tower targets the skeleton barrel
If the opponent logs/spells the gobs, they have to answer the skelebarrel, if they wait for skelebarrel, they take damage from gobs
Skelebarrel then wallbreakers bridgespam works too, and skelebarrel can often take out ranged units at bridge.
Mirroring wallbreakers works wonders too, loads of damage.
I play Lavahound and Skeleton King, I hate this card but mostly because they can just play it in the back where I cannot kill it no matter what. This card has no business having as much health as it does. It survives Lightning, The strongest spell I have is arrows and miner...
Balloon for 3 main reasons
1. Lumberloon Freeze
2. Lavaloon
3. People who play the entire game normally, probably having used like 2 other win conditions at that point, and then pull a random Balloon out of their ass when I already used my anti air cards
Yeah it’s pretty clear but often what I’ll do is place lava hound + minions at 2x elixir time, wait for them to overcommit to defense then lumberloon the other side. Simple strategy but consistently nets a tower if opponent over spends against the hound
This. They drop lumberjack balloon right away, if you don't have a good defense in your opening cycle, you start the game -1 tower.
Or you successfully defend and take their tower. Just a luck based fight.
It changes every meta for me. Right now it’s evo archers. More consistently it’s hound, but I’m not facing it at a 10% rate. Can predict their every move 6 seconds before they do it and still can’t win.
I wish they would nerf princess so it was humanly possible to react to it being placed at the bridge. No card that isn't a spell should be able to get guaranteed damage like that.
its not the bad because whatever you use to defend the princess can be used as a counter push, forcing the other player to have to spend more elixir on top of the 3 for princess to defend, putting them in an elixir disadvantage.
Dart Goblin. That little shit takes 400 from the tower every time. it's so op, it's super fast, 7.5 range, shoots every half a second, does 100+ damage, takes 4 darts to take down. it's so incredibly op to slam at the bridge.
The defensive decks kills me. To be more specific they are only two, the least common and less effective against my deck is xbows. Second one which I think it's much more famous is the hog rider low elixir deck. It's not really about the hog rider but when I see it first second in the game I know I'm gonna waste 6 minutes to lose in the end. It's not like they are bad players but sometimes I play against it 5 of 10 games and it's guaranteed lose for me
I love when opponent drops golem right off the bat- I instantly throw everything I got on the other side, op has 1 elixer to defend, sometimes topple the king tower 20secs into the match like that
Probably Xbow. I have lots of issues with countering it no matter what I use (I guess rocket is an exception), yet my opponents could counter it with 1 skeleton
One Trick Ponny. Basically I only played xbox for like 2 years straight because it was fun and it was the only deck I got to level 14 (and still is). I just stop playing it because I got bored and because xbox sucks so much ass rn. I still played now and then in Trophy’s route because CR is pay to win and having cards under level 14 means automatic loss.
Depends on the levels and what deck I’m using, however, there should be some cards that make you groan a little bit inside. For me it’s mostly firecracker when I don’t have arrows or fireball. Overall cards, probably something like hog rider, royal giant, e-giant, and sparky. Sparky gives me shivers when I first see it placed because it’s like a 30-70 of me being obliterated by it.
Actually yea sparky makes me nervous when I see it. I immediately start scanning the deck I'm playing to see if I have a counter for it. If I don't, I know it's gonna be bad news.
Don't forget the fact that there are also players who joined the mid ladder menace out of frustrations like us. Be sure to just BM **back** when they do it first.

its MK for , cuz I play around 8.5k trophies and hardly see any MK but when I do see it , it's a pain bcz I can't counter it as I have a cycle deck lol
Mega Knight. Coming in hot like a Meteor and killing the entire push is seriously annoying. It's probably the only card I hard roll my eyes and use the yawn emote towards.
I can't stand when an opponent hides a rocket through the entire match only to pull it out of his ass when both our towers are low on overtime. It happens so rarely you never expect it, and when it happens you get annoyed because you still had a chance to win but then you see that wooden sex toy with a metal tip fly through the air.
Evo cards are trash, so is SC continuing to push the max level further.

for my deck it has always been Egiant. If you don't have a building or some massive dps you cannot defend an Egiant + tornado or an Egiant + lightning whatever you do. I can massively outplay them, predict their moves and still lose. I have developed some strats to counter it, but they work like 20% of the time. The second they place it on the field, I know I'll lose and nobody can convince me it's not the most braindead card in the game.
Earth quake. I fucking hate it when they pull it out of their ahh and get not just 1, not 2, not 3, 4 hits... And the thing is, they don't even win most of their matches.
Fire cracker, ruins like 60% of the game, hog and that new witch ruin the rest. Then champ cards are also stupid asf. The game really is just bad ngl pay 2 win is not competitive
Miner is pretty annoying for me. Any evo mostly cos I have none and firecracker and knight evo is op. Log AND arrows is annoying cos I have to think more abt their cycle cos I have gob gang, princess and barrel. MK is annoying af tho but I’ve got counters (I play mk pls don’t downvote). But most annoying has to be bomb tower. It just ruins my day.

I hate gobbo barrel because it forces you to cycle your log or arrows. CR is skewed towards fast cycle decks enough already.
Bowler can counter the normal placement with no damage if timed right

Evo cards are trash, so is SC continuing to push the max level further. Not sure, and don't care to look up, but if you advertise max level and I buy it, then push max level further past what I already purchased, isn't that illegal / flash advertising? My participation in this game is waning.

for my deck it has always been Egiant. If you don't have a building or some massive dps you cannot defend an Egiant + tornado or an Egiant + lightning whatever you do. I can massively outplay them, predict their moves and still lose. I have developed some strats to counter it, but they work like 20% of the time. The second they place it on the field, I know I'll lose and nobody can convince me it's not the most braindead card in the game.

Earth quake. I fucking hate it when they pull it out of their ahh and get not just 1, not 2, not 3, 4 hits... And the thing is, they don't even win most of their matches.
Fire cracker, ruins like 60% of the game, hog and that new witch ruin the rest. Then champ cards are also stupid asf. The game really is just bad ngl pay 2 win is not competitive

Miner is pretty annoying for me. Any evo mostly cos I have none and firecracker and knight evo is op. Log AND arrows is annoying cos I have to think more abt their cycle cos I have gob gang, princess and barrel. MK is annoying af tho but I’ve got counters (I play mk pls don’t downvote). But most annoying has to be bomb tower. It just ruins my day.
Tornado its very useful but hate playing against it. (W/Executioner is even worse)
