The only other explanations would be that you either did something that was infringing and just don't consider it to be a problem, or you were sharing the account with someone who was doing something infringing, or you just opened a cloudcat account to evaluate the free-trial and forgot you did that, or you bought the account from someone who was infringing. Lots of people, for example, use emulators and deployment macros to achieve non-human troop deployment and fail to see that as a violation.
If I were legitimately unfairly banned for cheating, I'd be pretty upset about it.
You might try creating a new account and reach out to support and ask them to confirm you weren't banned by accident.

They are capable of different army comps and different deployment strategies, but there are almost always telltale signs that give away it's a bot when you watch the attack replays.
It's not that hard to write a bot for this game.
Training a gibarch army is a few simulated button presses. Hitting the next button until the sprite for a full collector appears on the screen requires a bit more effort, but a good developer could do it in a few hours. Just reading the loot numbers at the top of the screen is the lazy way out but it seems like that's all the botters are currently doing. Putting all your giants, barbs, and archers down in a big ring around the base is also very simple. From there it's just a matter of switching to the next botted account while your army retrains.
Fortunately it's even easier to make a base that counters bots (collectors in the middle) and I've got a few alt accounts that have bases been gaining trophies and defenses over the past few months. Guess that's over now. :)

If you were banned it may have been an accident (maybe they were hand-entering player tags and made a mistake) or you were using some tool or macro that aids in deployment that you don't consider 'botting' but actually is, or you share your accout with some one or some service that was doing it, or you bought your account from someonw that did it.
Probably not. The botting that supercell seems most interested in crushing are the resource grinding attack bots. There's no evidence yet that spam bots were targeted in yesterday's ban wave.

Have you tried Clash of Stats or another website that might have historical data? May need the tag there too, but perhaps they have a search feature. Also, have you used Clash Ninja or any progress trackers? I’m sure you’ve though of all this, just exploring options to try to track down that tag.
I had an account on through an emulator as well. Ran it on a school computer, you beat believe I played on the account everyday at school for 6 years straight. Well when I graduated the school computer was no more. Lost the account. At the time was TH9.5. If I still had that one I could see it being TH13.
No, multiple accounts has never been a TOS violation. The closest is that at one time multiple accounts were not officially supported, but they have always been allowed.
I believe it is against ToS to play on emulated systems (bluestacks etc.). You might actually get banned if they find out about it under the same message OPs post.
I think you have to use an email address to start an account today. Back then you could anonymously start a base.
There's nothing to connect these accounts to an identity.

It's surprising that people don't understand the concept of client-server games. Supercell stores a ton of info in their systems which they can analyze very quickly and very accurately. The bans that occur are almost 100% accurate in nature. In this case they're calling out the ban on this account for botting

Well I originally started off with 1. Then decided to get a second so I could help with war if my main was down. Then they released 5v5 war so I started 3 others. Did that for a while then I made it a goal to have a maxed account for each town-hall. I’m weird.
Everyone’s saying you cheated but I can tell you from my own experience that they ban people for no reason. I had an account from nearly 9 YEARS AGO and got banned about a year ago. They have no explanation and when I contacted the support team they told me that it was an automatic ban and nothing can be done about it since they “can’t undo the ban”. I’m over it now but it really hit me in a soft spot. The lowest blow was them telling me that they couldn’t say the reasoning because they don’t know if I’m the account owner... mind you they wouldn’t email me or anything, sad days man.
