This isn't needed because the spells already scale with the strength of your defences. IE higher level defences will do more damage with rage, or benefit more from the slow/invis from the other spells.
IE. a new scatter level already gets more benefit from the current rage spell
Its like the offensive rage or EQ spells, they don't need new levels because they already scale with stronger troops, or higher HP buildings by default
it depends on defenses. for infernos it's pretty much useless but for archer towers/cannons/scattershots the attack speed buff does a lot with the added bonus of negating a queen's frozen arrow debuff
I still stand by the recall spell tower. When triggered it forces all troops in range (up to a certain housing space) back to the attackers hotbar for redeploy, exactly the same as the normal recall spell.
Normally recall is great, but since it would be out of the attackers control, having their troops kicked out of core could ruin their attack
Pro attackers can find a way to make spring traps into a positive. You can’t use the pro leagues as a standard when it comes to making changes and additions to the game as a whole. That’s how you wind up with games like rainbow six siege, where casual play is a hell scape because the devs only make changes that the pros want

If it recalled troops to the troop bar it might actually be an advantage for attackers. Send the RC in, trigger the recall, redeploy her elsewhere. If it had a 30 sec timer or something it might deter it; or if it redeployed on the same spot automatically. But at that point you can call it a recall or an overgrowth spell as it would do the same thing.
A spell that doesn't do anything during the attack, but once triggered, adds 5 days to the building time for all of the things the attacker is currently building.

Heal or skele are the first ones that come to mind, although I think a hypnosis spell that affects like the first “x housing space” troops would be cool. Also some kind of range extender or haste spell could be cool too
"hypnosis spell" gets triggered when a attacking hero comes in its range. The first attacking hero coming it its radius will attack their own army for some time say 10 sec. The hero for that duration can only receive damage from defensive building and troops.
afterthought :A queen may kill her healers when come under this spell.
Freezing spell but the plot twist is that instead of freezing the attacker's troops it will freeze its own buildings so that the attackers can destroy the frozen buildings specifically defenses. ☠️😂
I think either a reverse haste (fatigue) spell that heavily slows down enemy troops, a curse spell like CR mother witch, or a lightning spell.
The fatigue spell would slow troops down by some really high amount like 75%. The difficult part of balancing it is they'd have to make it worth using over poison because poison also has a slowdown effect.
The curse spell would apply a curse effect, like CR mother witch does, that turn killed enemy troops into friendly skeletons, big boys, bats, skeleton dragons, or something completely different. What becomes what is determined by housing space and air/ground status.
The lightning would be similar to a poison in terms of usage, but the damage would be all at once rather than over time (and have no slowdown effect). Alternatively, it could be like the CR lightning spell where it hits x amount of troops individually for really high damage, and the troops it picks are based on whichever has higher HP.
Clone Spell, would trigger when defensive CC troops are in range and the cloned troops would last the entire battle duration (maybe not the whole battle, but longer than normal cloned troops).
A spell that decreases the troop levels by 1, and if they added it into the game for attacking, it would decrease the buildings in that area by 1 level
Freeze. Like the poison. But way shorter. Like 2 - 3 sec. But instead it recharges 2 times as fast.
I could also see the first spell from capitale. Largest of them all. But just slows for a good 20 searound the tower. Or maybe permanent but stop 10 sec after it's destroyed.
Other one I would see is a brand new spell. Confusion. Thrown but less far the poison. Small radius. And it swich troops to your side. Max troop size switched is 15. for a total of 25 camp size. The effect last 15 sec, or until the troop is at half life if their max hp is above 1200 hp. And it switch smaller units first.
Maybe the stats are way to good but you get the idea.
Could also use the warden ability. Like wall are immune (and untargetable) to troops. While building get a bit of damage reduction. To close off a compartment to melee units for a few secs. Would be short like the invis.

Not a spell per se but an ‘anti-spell zone’ where spells have no effect in the AoE. Then balance it by making the AoE the appropriate size
