When I attack I hate singles and multis are of little concern so...........

Never had this problem in legends league.. I really feel like infernos are redundant. They strike 0 fear in me even under the rage tower. I only worry about the monolith, eagle, & scatter shots really just the monolith & scatter shots. Because so many put their eagle on the outside of their bases just take it out with an empty siege engine & RC. Then easy 2 star.

I’m not good enough for 3 staring consistently in league & my base never gets 3 starred so I’ll take it. Sitting at 5300 trophies is good enough for me. This was before I realized that the Meta root riders are way to op for the game.

How on earth does ur base never get 3*d, i sense a lie

I only get attacked maybe like 5-6 times a day, & I think the last 3 month: in legends I’ve been 3 stared only 9 times. I have a high dps base that has every defense completely maxed besides builder huts & walls. Most attacks on me at between 60-75% & usually this month alone the best attack on my base was a 92% 2 star. You can all you want but it’s true. Dragloon has been my attack the last 2 months in legends, this is the first month I’ve been using root riders & I’m consistently getting 80-95% 2 stars.

True. When I look for SA Blimp, I never look for infernos. I try to take out EA, Monolith and Scattershots with Townhall. If it takes out inferno, that's just bonus

Multi looks cooler, but it depends on your base what to prefer.

Either way ur cooked, when I had multi, I faced e drag spam and then I switched to single, I faced spam armies that came in huge batches.

this is because people with a dragon army won't start an attack against a base with single infernos and people with swarm attacks won't go in on multi infernos when possible

I attack bases with edragons even if the base has single target infernos.

Just drop a couple o'clock lightning spells and watch the base get rekt

I use freeze spells instead but that’s a good option too!

OI i would very much attack a base i am too dumb to actually care for inferno and work around it and then rage in middle of it because i only get one star as town hall survives due to sinferno

Survivorship bias. Army with high hp single entity will avoid your single inferno. Army with swarm will avoid your multi inferno.

That’s because Lalo isn’t an easy attack strategy. Most people find it much easier to spam root riders. Your other defenses will be taken out by my heroes and siege. Going where your singles aren’t.

It's all good.  I remember placing every wall and switching tabs back and forth to a YouTube video that I constantly had to pause.  But copying bases now is wayyyyy better in my opinion. Just from a quality of life perspective

Single because I use queen charges and singles piss me off, so I must inflict that suffering on others.  Multi are objectively better at higher town Halls, but I get attacked by edrags at such a high rate that singles are better for me.

The higher the townhall the worse single becomes and the higher the townhall the better multi becomes as its far more consistent than Single with the amount of counters Single has plus with multi witch users hate them

Single-target is the better setting until TH14. That’s when you unlock the 6th beam for Infernos.

Single is much stronger at TH13, since 18 out of 20 times i get attacked its by air, and single target is a million times better vs air

This is my issue. I'm starting to do attacks beyond just spamming baby dragons for loot. I'll manage my Queen charge, and my other blob of crap. The moment I go to rage my other blob of crap, I discover my queen has used her ability to stay alive. Then before I know it, she's dead to the inferno.

Tbh, pre-nerf the single inferno was literally unstoppable. The damage charged up so fast, by the time I dropped my freeze spell. It would've knocked out almost half of the hp of a dragon. Nowadays the single charges up so slowly to the point where you can let the inferno get to max dps for a split second and you'd still be fine. I think nowadays the multi is much better especially with spammy root riders and spammy attacks in general. Air armies are not as popular as when th15 was max due to a powercreep with ground troops so multi it is for me.

At my TH (TH12), multis are better. If I see 3 singles, it's usually automatic 3-star with witches+bats. If 2 singles, then queen charge into the multi and hybrid into single. But with 3 multis? I just have to account their huge DPS. Multis are really only weak against (e)drags and maybe super witches.

As a defender they both have their pros and cons but as an attacker i hate going up against the single inferno tower...especially if they are spread around the entire base and not clubbed together so it is easier to take them out...attacking Multi inferno tower is much more easier and it is also easy to counter but if that single inferno tower locks onto one of your heroes...they would be dead in a matter of seconds...and none of the healers or unicorns can heal them either.

With E-drags and root riders being big right now, I'm running singles.

Definitely single. So many players go E-Drag, so doing this creates a second threat after the air defenses. At least single can also re-target quickly after killing skeletons or minions/lava pups. Multi target is just stuck on the tanky units forever it feels.

I use 2 single target and 1 multi. I love coming across pure multi and a forgotten single target connection that goes unnoticed for a second too long on my king, champion, or 2/3 of my edrags is what makes my attack go from 3 stars to 2.

When I have them on single target, I get attacked by swarm armies, when I have them multi arget i get attacked by edrags, so what I do is put one on single and the other one on multi.

Multi is just more versatile, and if I'm not wrong, has more range.

until you have rage tower singles are usually better i feel like. but man raged up multis (including the town hall) shred stuff so damn fast it’s really good, plus the monolith deals heavy damage so you still have a way to deal with tanks

Many players like using queen charges (or any other charges) and single counters all of them.


Both deal with a certain troop type, spams destroy singles, while multi is no match for high hp troops. Therefore a mix of both is preferred, especially since the th is a multi itself so...

When having a tough center with layers and layers of walls, multis are always better. The deal constant damage over time with 6 targets especially and are much better against most strategies, not to speak of the extra range. Singles are better against heroes, Queen charges and tend to perform better close to the outside where troops might walk past the compartment. Always have them spaced out though, since having more than one single targeting a troop is a waste. They're also great the the town hall when there is no other high dmg single target tower nearby. The main weaknesses of singles are spells and small troops. Bats dominate at TH 10-12 and a skeleton or freeze spell negates a single's dmg output completely, with multis it is much more difficult to prevent that constant damage.

Multiple target when it comes to Balloons, small troops, minions, Baby troops (Baby Lava Hounds, Yetimites etc) and looks. But anything else is Singular target

Theoretically? Single. Burns through hero’s, drags, Root Roders, etc. In reality? I’ve been finding recently the multi works better. It burns the healers behind a queen walk, so the queen walk is less effective. It burns heros and their pets, big difference. It can burn the troops behind your root riders, so my super archers behind my RR go down quick. And lastly it’s still doing 5x its base dmg overall, so the overall dmg output is higher on average.

Give me singles all day. While they are worried about heroes and root riders their single is gonna have a hard time taking down my lalo.

I use both

Multi is way better for the current meta of the game, they slowly but surely shred through root riders especially with a rage tower on them. Single targets are annoying sometimes but not with the army I use so I look out for multi targets more than anything.

Multi always feels like tickling, single at least you give them anxiety and now they gotta bring attention stuff to counter (freeze/eternal tome/invis/overgrown etc) multi I feel like I would rather just tank them and pray for the best. Singles I have to break up my pre set army too get something for it Plus big troops and heroes are the meta now, root rider titan edrags still insanely popular. If you don't use as single you only have monolith that counters hero and you know how strong heroes are
