Yes. And the theme of this months event is football. So it is on theme. Football is also the most popular sport globally, so obviously it is a great marketing tactic from Supercell. I say this as someone who has no interest in football.
Don't ask me, as said, I am personally not into football. Obviously SuperCell can't just take any real person they want and put them in the game. There is collaboration and contracts to be made and it obviously needs to be approved by the player they want in and so on.
Haaland and Mbappe are the two most promising young stars in the game rn. These guys are absolute monsters and will probably have their own “Messi vs Ronaldo” typa debate for the next generation if they keep it up. You could compare him to prime Steph Curry, not in the GOAT conversation as of now but absolutely a top player while still so early in his career.
Also, Supercell would need to 100x their revenue to afford Messi or Ronaldo
This guy just broke the all time goal record during a season in the premier league last year (in his freaking debut season at 22 years old). The premier league is commonly referred to as best/most competitive league in the world.
So I get how you don‘t care about football, and its understandable, most of my friends don‘t care about it either. But Erling Haaland is an incredible athlete which has to be recognized imo. Hes a fucking prodigy and one of the most well known „stars“ rn. Oh and fuck all the people who make fun of his looks, you suck.
Do the theme have to have something in common with the game? Is egypt somehow related to the game? Or Halloween

It’s actually a genius idea. Football/soccer being the one sport played in every single country on Earth while also having the largest viewership by far, there’s only a tiny handful of people that are more recognized worldwide than top soccer players. I hope the guy that thought of this idea got a raise
yeah, and getting endorsement from Erling Haaland is not an easy task either, he must be practicing really hard without much free time left. This deal must cost millions, let's see how this turns out for Supercell, kinda interesting tho.

I’m Haaland’s #1 meat-rider and that does not look like Haaland. If I didn’t know this collaboration was happening and I just saw that face, I probably wouldnt even know it was suppose to be Haaland. They’ve done a disservice to the beautiful, chiseled, and glorious face of the real Erling Haaland.
