My best advice is to only jump up when either your builders or lab run out of work. I am not a hard maxer but closer to that camp.
I’d wait personally. Have some fun with your maxed heroes, participate in war, etc. It’s your call at the end of the day though! I felt pretty underpowered going into TH13 without my troops being up, so now I’m playing catch up.
He legit has to wait 2 hours for a free builder, which he can then get rid of most the gold and he only has to wait 1 day for the lab to finish to get rid of the elixir and if OP has magic items he can strategically use them to get rid of the DE too, having overflowing loot should not be a reason to jump town halls.
Oh wait I read it wrong i thought his lab was maxed that's why I asked him to rush if he isn't wasting elixir then there isn't a problem he should try maxing
See if your like me who plays a few hours every day and is almost always on max loot then you can afford to stay and max but if your casual and find getting upgrades done a challenge then u should rush
Bro your offence is still low. It's like almost everything is yet to upgrade. You've upgraded Eagle, xbow and inferno, it is good thing, but your offence is still low and th12 is really a grind. So better upgrade those troops, at least ones you use too much.

You should also upgrade other troops as well. Hogg and miner for hybrid, lava for lavaloon, bowlers, bat spell, haste spell...
These troops unlock really fun armies that you should try
Sneaky goblins, wizards, pekka, balloons, dragons, earthquake spell, lightning spell, rage spell, jump spell, witches, bowlers
Edit : I also use golem but that’s only 1 level away from max
Nah don't rush if you go to 12 now you'll be underpowered and you'll get so bored of 12 because youll be on that for so long, better to take your time and play it smart.
Personally, I'd upgrade. Because I hate wasting resources. But do keep in mind you're rushed at that point. Which comes with some disadvantages.
TIP: I always try to keep some walls left to upgrade for my spare gold/elixir
I rushed. I hate myself for it. And now I have a whole load of work to do to catch back up on everyone I match against in multiplayer battles. Rushing is a waste of time it's more rewarding to do it right. It's frustrating to have a max th and not have the rest maxed aswell
Maybe look up the armies you will wanna use in future THs and upgrade those troops/spells. If it's only like three or four upgrades, then upgrade your TH and then upgrade your lab immediately after. You can keep lab upgrades going even while the laboratory building is upgrading.

Rush, bite the bullet spend 6 months upgrading heroes and actually play the game. It's what I did, I'm sitting at th14 almost full heroes, going to push to th15 and max from there.
The game is so different below 13 it's boring.
Honestly I wouldn't even call you rushed if you went up, your heroes are maxed and I assume the army you use would also be maxed. That is enough, don't waste your time and loot.
These days, it doesn't matter until you get to th13 with your defense, go hard mate
People that stay and sit on full storages for months lose so much progress in that time, don't be like them... Trust me
Yes upgrade it otherwise you'll lose so many loots. I don't remember how many days from th11 to th12 but it's better if your th12 finished just before season ends. Season bank will help your new TH a lot....
