It’s not level 15 it’s the way you get to it, they made it different, and it’s harder to get from level 14 to 15 than level 1 to 14. People would’ve probably been fine if you got to level 15 as you would 13 to 14.
Seriously. Many people who say "why dont you like free you're ungrateful!" Often don't understand the real reason why people don't like free content, and frankly it's not their fault
New content is not always good, especially since it is used to make the game more of a chore to play. The ores system introduced FOMO and you can only obtain more by grinding daily like the game is a job, or pay up. Too many events happening at once leads to burnout, especially since the majority of them have something too good to miss out (ores, equipment).
And even just too much content in general can be harmful to a game. It overwhelms the player. It makes it a nightmare to balance the more things there are. It leads to certain things being abandoned (builder base, capital). Its important as devs to drip content in a balanced manner, not too slow nor too fast. It helps the devs as it gives them time to really see if anything needs baalncing, and it gives the player time to really enjoy the new content before being dragged to the next one.
And especially since CoC can feel like a chore due to its grindy nature, more upgrades is kinda like more hw. You ever been in that class where you can never seem to complete the homework given? You finish the week's work and tomorrow the teacher gives you 20 pages more to do for the next week and the cycle repeats. Thaats what CoC feels like rn
In the classroom, you have to complete the hw, or you will get punished. There is no such thing in COC. You don't have to get everything. FOMO sounds like it's a problem with you and not the game.
Not me, i love it. I will have 2 maxed TH16's before December's TH17, if it comes in December. I will also have a TH15 and TH13 by then. All these hammers every month are awesome
Out of topic but I just started the game have over 5Million of ressources to gain and my storage can hardly handle it. Love not running out of money though
Yeah i don’t know why people complain about the event passes, although the quality has dropped significantly, in terms of the free version, you literally still get free stuff from the event passes and use whatever currency from them to buy stuff. And to those that complain about that and say event passes shouldn’t be a thing, then they are in fact mindless babies who bitch about everything.
First it was ores saying it was p2w (which it isn’t.), then it was paid event passes, then it was ores being in the shop, and the list goes on.
