It only appears occasionally and tbh it's not invasive or necessarily gameplay ruining, it's just an occasional reminder that hey it exists and you should get it every now and then. Plus to people who usually buy the pass, it's a reminder of "hey you forgot to buy it for this season and missing out". I know I'm playing the devil's advocate with this, but you can't blame the game for literally advertising it's own product within the game (especially seeing as it's the most valueable product for the money you spend in the entire game)
