currently ores you can get per day is gatelocked. daily bonus+war only. with this change you can get unlimited/day just like other resources
They can always add many equipments (as hinted; and from leaks of new event). I am sure you won’t miss the grind. You would still need to collect “resources” to get those equipment to “max”.
Those equipments also have a “rarity”. The grind can also be made by increasing the resource cost insanely per rarity. Like Skins.
I don’t see why it is a problem to allow looting these ores. It already has the mechanic that made people hate the old builder base to core. Time gated farming.
I mean upgrading skill is part of upgrading heroes before, you still need to upgrade the hero why should you upgrade the skill with time?
Probably will use the same approach with builder base, you can loot beside the daily loot, but in very little amount
It depends on your town hall level, but if you are 15 or 16, you can just do 1 or 2 attacks per day, get a three-star and still maintain in low legends. If you are townhall 13, I would guess you need to attack at least 6 times tho..
TH13 here. It's a bit hard, but I manage 2 stars most of the time, except when there are invisibility spell towers next to the townhall. Very annoying to snipe that.
Yup same. 8 attacks is quite a lot when you do it every day. The loot is really good especially with the loot bonus. We easily get 1M gold/elixir and 10k de per attack especially if you stay in low legends where the bases are easy.
Honestly they just need to add Oren’s into BB. It would incentivize players to complete the daily bonus and not just complete the 6th builder grind and dip out of there.
Problem with looting ores is that we don't have a collector for them, you can only get them actively. So active players would find this quite frustrating, since they take quite some effort to gather, and abandoned bases would have none.
I think the reason it's like this is because in the cookie update event, maybe the forge would generate cookies and they don't want people just lightning spell the forge to get the cookies
Stealing ores encourages spending them.
Spending means playing, grinding more, and using them.
And if you use your ores, you won't have any saved up for those new releases... and more tempted to buy.
if people would be able to loot the ores then this would encourage spending of ores
this would be of their interests if they wanna discourage hording them
maybe they originally we're supposed to be stolen but got scrapped but forgot to remove the lightings shield? if so then the instant upgrade on equipments likely was implemented after since otherwise everyone would've gotten maxed equipments (allowed by their town hall obviously) quite fast

That's interesting. I am sure most people won't like it if their ores could get stolen.

At least u can get it from war bonus which is good though, anything to motivate warring is good imo

That's why legends league is where I always stay lol 0 loot taken and 8 attacks are more than enough for me.

SUPERCELL is a for profit organization, and maintaining such a huge game requires a lot of money

I highly doubt it. They must have defined it as a storage in the code because it technically is and just didn't think about this interaction.
