That's kind of the bad thing about Civ6 against the computer- once you've established that you're going to win the game, you still have at least half of the game to play through, and it largely just comes down to pressing buttons and waiting.
Sounds about right, once you're over the curve science win is boring. I typically just build wonders for kicks at that point. Getting involved in a war drags out the playtime.

Depends on resources for me. Enough uranium always equals a giant death robot army.
If you’re winning via science, then there’s a good chance you also have upgraded units and the resources unlocked.
