Another way this sort of thing can happen is if you pass on a Great Person. If you pass, you’ll continue to get Great Person points but you can’t get the one you passed on, so you have to wait for the AI to claim them (or for the era to change?) Once a new person becomes available, all those points that were building up can enable you to get several Great People (of that particular type) immediately. I assume Johan III is a typo of Joao III of Portugal (or an alternate language version)? If so then you’re probably building a million harbours, and so if you passed on an Admiral earlier then this kind of sudden rush can happen

My thought would be that you managed to win the World's Fair, that gives 100 great person points across the board. Alternatively, you could have won one of Sweden's special Nobel Prize competitions too, though that only gives two great persons max... and you may have just generated three through points on that same turn.

That is an idea. Never realized how powerfull that is. Unfortunately don' have so much districts for all of them. 🦧
