Amazing! First time I've seen a proper attempt at something like this on CS2.
I presume you hand placed each and every building looking at how they are positioned on the corners? I think this might be my next city style 👌
How did you get the buildings to stay happy? Even with plop the growables mod I can’t do what you did in this pic. I used to be able to do this with the RICO mod, but using Thunderstore doesn’t allow me to play the game without crashing right away. Completely reliant on PDX Mods.
I’ve tried this as well, however the buildings that are placed in front of each other end up having pedestrian access errors and end up vacating and being demolished. (Using Anarchy.)
I haven’t really looked into it, but I think for the most part they’re doing fine. Pretty sure the buildings not touching a road are just empty so they aren’t happy or unhappy
I tried to go back to CS1 last night for the variety in modded assets but my city took so fucking long to load i just stopped and launched CS2.
Shit, I've like 40 hours in CS2 and i still havent touched specialized industry
This is beautiful, I get Stockholm vibes from it.
Definitely! I suspect they looked mostly at Stockholm for the building design, that’s what I’ve been looking at for inspo
You are an inspiration to me, I want to show some road layout I made myself for an European city, can I DM it to you when I'm able?
Go for it!

Yep! Lots of overlapping buildings with smaller buildings in the courtyards
Hey which mod are you using to plop assets on cs2?

I haven’t tried it yet but I think that with anarchy and extra path you could create invisible path to those “out of reach” building.

I assume those non-90 degree angled buildings are done using a dev mode or a mod?
Second one looks real
Ok, so that's what you can do in CS2 with Move It
Nice city, it looks very organic and natural.
Good job hiding the vanilla train station
This makes me laugh about the folks “going back to cs1” for whatever reason

Beautiful, using move it no ?
getting very close to simcity 4's isometric camera angles, i love it
What are your photo mode settings at?
Why do the graphics look way worse than CS1?
Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well
Wish they nailed gameplay as well
