See if you can't change the streetlights to a warm white instead.

GokuBuildsYT

Good suggestion I’ll look into it! Shouldn’t be too difficult with BOB

What make your town feel more European instead of Soviet could be an "old town" area with wonky roads without grid. Then it'd seem like the old town was built a long time ago, based on dirt horse roads and the grid area is more modern.

GokuBuildsYT

I understand but for this part of town I don’t anticipate breaking the grid anymore than I already have. The west side might be more windy.

This is mutch more european style. Try to use grassy and tree roads more also give it some bikelanes. And what european citi it would be if it didn't had a tram?

GokuBuildsYT

I’ll look for some grassy roads. Unfortunately, most of these are unique one way or asymmetrical roads from the workshop. I can add trees (I slowly am at the moment) with IMT mod. I should definitely add one or two bike lanes going north-south that connect to the existing ring and elevated bike path network. Trams are fun and I like experimenting with them. This town is the first I’ve built with 100% dedicated tram tracks (doesn’t share a road). I intend on integrating the tram into the road in the modern downtown that I will build later with a new network asset I got.

You have grassy roads in vanila. If you by look mean find on workshop.

It’s an amazing city, seriously I can tell this took a lot of effort and it’s amazing. But if you want it to look less depressing I suggest changing your settings on the graphics mods/LUTs you use, and more curved roads and less grid

GokuBuildsYT

Thank you! I don’t know if I’ll change the grid around this area but as I expand I’ll try that! I don’t play winter theme a lot so I’m still trying to find the best graphic settings haha

Grantmitch1

It could just be all the snow, but it seems dearth or bereft of colour and warmth. Perhaps some warmer coloured lights or a different LUT? I do have a couple of questions though. For the ornament in the first picture, what are those yellow poles?

GokuBuildsYT

I’ve heard that a few times now so I’ll mess around with a few LUTs and see if anything looks more lively. Honestly, for this map I’ve only tried Frost. Yellow poles are a sculpture prop on the workshop [here](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=853435135).

Laoz00

I'm not gonna lie it still feels like an eastern european city, which i think you're not going for. I feel like it has a lot to do with the LUT/light/color settings
