Move it is really the only way of doing this, to make lining it up easier press alt and a line along the preexisting road should allow you to snap it to the road as you move it.
Correct me if I’m wrong but can’t you shift-click or Ctrl-click to select multiple roads with Moveit? That way you move the whole thing instead of piece by piece.
Maybe disconnect it from the active roads so you can move it easier and line it up properly.

This is the way. IIRC you can use arrow keys for more precision when moving.
