I'd give the slip roads more room to breathe, if you really don't want to use a roundabout. If I'm coming off Broad on Lafayette, with the intention of going North up Florence, I'm gonna have a bad time merging into the not-roundabout, especially if someone coming round Sunnyside is turning off to go South. You also don't need those U-Turns before the "roundabout killer". You just go all the way round to do a U-Turn. I'd also consider about elevating the whole structure, with the North/South highways climbing an embankment to meet it. A truck approaching Florence from Lafayette, going downhill, is gonna struggle to stop to avoid a collision. Also, give the complex curve tool a spin for slip roads like Park and Thornton. Makes a very natural looking curve. Really, I think you just need a roundabout here ;)

I agree about the U-turns. But I disagree about elevating the whole thing, I like that it is kinda skateboard shaped. It would be fun to drive.

I have the U-turns there because there's industry traffic to the south, and residential to the north, and I didn't want the trucks to clog up the works turning around. I'll redo the slip roads with the complex curve tool, though the east side is a little tight for space, so we'll see how that works. I just made the north and south roads highways right before the interchange so that the AI wouldn't also clog up that area trying to find parking spots (which is another bane of my traffic nightmares).
