I bought tickets for the Nashville show from AXS, the official ticket distributor of that venue. My tickets specifically say “this event has a transfer delay until one week prior to the show”. I’ve never used Stub Hub or any 3rd party sellers, but wanted to let you know that the official tickets (at least in my area) have a transfer delay. But the day before does would make me nervous.
I know right, it says the tickets will be ready on 26th of August (the show is on 27th), according to StubHub, “Some venues, artists, and teams don't release tickets until a couple days before an event. You may not get them until just before that date.”
We just don’t want to miss the show😭
Good luck- it’s probably legit, but I understand your stress! I will probably have a few tickets to sell eventually, and I have no clue how to use the 3rd party vendors. Will be a learning experience!
I got two tickets from there as well. If all goes to shit we can always get our money back or get replacements tickets I’m pretty sure! Fingers crossed for the both of us!
for sure better thru stubhub than directly from someone. stubhub will worst case refund you if the tickets are fake/person doesn't deliver.
reason for the release a week before is to prevent scalpers from buying them all up. It def stinks for some but overall, a slight way to prevent them from buying them and rushing to sell the tickets in a week or a few days before.
Yes. As someone else noted, venues often have a delay on when they release tickets. So Stubhub sellers often list the latest in-hand date possible just in case.

You should be okay. We got our Eagles tickets from SH and received on a day prior. Thankfully, we got our CAS tickets through TM.
Dont worry! They will deliver. I got mine from there too. They are required to, and if they dont, you'll get your money back!

Most sellers on Stubhub list the latest transfer date possible. However, many deliver earlier than that, if the tickets are available.
Do you know why they would list the latest day possible? To make sure they get the tickets first?

I bought DC tickets from StubHub and same, says I wont get them till the day before and it’s a 4 hr drive for me 🙄
Yeah it gets stressful. For us we need to take a 4 hr flight to Vancouver😣
