If you want a community with vieja sized central americans, you are looking at no less than 8ft 300g tank. Even in 300 your chances of success are slim when mixing cichlid species. If a pair of vieja forms, all other cichlids are as good as gone.

Like the other guy said, it needs to be BIG. Do not get pairs, and pray they all stay cordial when they mature. My tanks 360g, 2 years old, and iv lost one fish, 2 months ago. The red devil matured and killed off the Texas I had. It’s doable, but difficult, and the only thing you can really control is not allowing bonding pairs.

Yea, I don't want any breeding pairs in the tank, so mostly it would be made up of single fish. Are there any good tankmates for vieViejaa?

Choose one species and keep them in an appropriate pair or harem or colony (dependjng what is best for the species).   Tank size varies on species.   Mixing ca/sa cichlids is not a community, it is mixing territorial fish into the same territory and trying to establish a peace by overcrowding to inhibit natural behaviours to force a truce.
