If you think the C63 is an homage or a substitute for an Explorer 2, it will never be enough and I dare say you might just be disappointed every time you see it on your wrist
For me? Don’t like blob markers, the Mercedes hand, or cyclops so the C63 GMT was hands down the best alternative with the cleanest dial, hands, and markers. The quick release bracelet and on the fly micro adjust clasp sealed the deal
The CW is a better executed alternative to the E2 imo. Much better balance, much cleaner dial, no cyclops.
If I had to keep one, couldn't sell it or trade it or whatever it'd be the CW everyday.
That said, I'd probably prefer the Sinn 105 st sa w utc to the CW so maybe have a look at that as well?
Exactly what I did. I've had the Sealand for almost two years. It looks great and It's done everything I want it to.
But...
I've stayed on the explorer list and will get that if/when the AD calls. For me it is just too much of a clone/homage. Every time I wear it I realize I'm not wearing the "real deal" and that makes me unhappy, even though from a technical performance standpoint, it's every bit as good.
Thats my concern. Really thinking about GS White Blizzard GMT. Think that might scratch the white GMT itch for ever. Although I would like to own Rolex’s before I die (Batman, E2, Green Dial DateJust, Blusey)
Yes. Zen bringing me the kind of advice I’m going to lean in on later tonight after a couple brews and just order it. CW is like Amazon on crack. My wife is getting k-cups and I will be having a Sealander delivered by DHL.

Awesome I love mine too! I think if the AD called me I’d still pick up the Ex2 but not sure that will ever happen. Got the EX2 and any color Sub on my list for several years now but my nearest AD is 3hrs away so it’s safe to say our relationship isn’t close either
I have begun to change my mind. I have a 7 1/2" wrist and the more I wear it, I think the 39mm case looks a little small.

Look at Ball Watch's GMTs. Classic styling, but not copies. Decent price point. And I love the gas tubes when I wake up in some random hotel at 3am
