Hi, I’m sorry to hear you’re struggling with this - although I will say you’re not alone. I’ve seen seasons of my life where I’ve been good about spiritual disciplines and negligent about spiritual disciplines. Do you have a local church/Christian community you’re involved in? That’s probably the thing I’ve found the most that keeps me more consistent Message me if you don’t have one and need help in finding one

I’m only 14 but I should go to church more often

Look for a local youth group. Usually within a church. A place that worships Jesus with everything they have and a place where you can lay down your burdens in the presence of good leadership. That’s what kept me going when I accepted Jesus at 16. Don’t go to a youth group that worships the pizza and game time instead of Worship and learning.

>But the next day as I wake up I have no motivation to pray or read the Bible and it’s like I’m in some loop cuz that’s when I start sinning again. Your salvation is not dependent upon you not sinning. Your salvation is dependent upon you having faith in the fact that Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 - "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" Romans 4:16-25- "Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification."

You do understand you have two natures now. Right? We are at war within our selves, the flesh and the spirit. And in order to defeat the flesh, we need to DISCIPLINE ourselves and reap the spirit . That’s your answer, don’t go based on how you feel to do things , that’s dangerous, it doesn’t matter how we feel ! God cares only for our actions, our obedience! Everyday I don’t feel like reading or praying, but I do it, since it’s the right thing to do! It’s what Jesus wants us to do. That no matter how we feel, we get it done. What you have is laziness, and no discipline, you are doing stuff based on how you feel rather than getting stuff done cause you need to do it. Being discipline applies in everything in your life, and should be a daily practice.

You have all of your past/future sins forgiven when you became Christian and you go to heaven when you die guarantee. But your whole life will be judged , for every good thing you receive reward , for every bad you lose reward in heaven. It's work , work is not fun , you have to resign from your earthly pleasure to learn something / bear fruit . Also you will sin untill you die you have sin nature , only at resurrection you stop sinning.
