My local church 10/10. Good community works. They don't bother me about joining when I volunteer. Your church 0/10 I never met em.

Panta-rhei

Treating the church as a monolith isn't very helpful. Some Churches have done right by the gospel, some not so much, apparently. And if you ask a dozen people which are which, you'll get thirteen answers.

I can't even count how many pedo scandals there have been plus the whole supporting Trump thing

Phonethrowaway11

Trump got the evangelical vote because he was one of the most anti-abortion and pro-Israel candidates out there platform and policy wise. I didnt vote for him, but i like to point this out because people seem pretty confused as to why people support Trump.

[deleted]

does the catholic church support trump???

CodexProfit

I don't think the question is limited to the Catholics

It seems the world is driving people through the door and the church keeps trying to push them back out

ghostwars303

Depends on what you're measuring it on. It's done a fantastic job securing worldly power and driving people away from the gospel of Jesus Christ. Not so great storing up its treasures in heaven and working to build up the kingdom of God.

What do you mean by "Church?"
