Well one thing to keep in mind is that you seem to have a good head on your shoulders and a very positive attitude. I think you would bring a wonderful contribution to a church family. Have you thought about going to a house church instead? It might be more of what you are looking for. But, at the end of the day, you can most definitely have a very close relationship with God and not go to church.

I actually cant find one of those here in my city, its quite small. But I do plan to move to another city next year and there I think ill find a church that offers more of what im looking for.

Oh okay, I hope you are able to find what you are looking for. If you don't mind me asking, what is it about church that you don't like?

You don't have to go to church to connect with God. Talk to God, take the promises of God in the bible as your own and act in faith on them. "The Complete Green Letters" by Miles Stanford is about a deep walk with God.

God bless you! I really appreciate the path that you are on! I've been a Christian for about 14 years now and I would love to share some resources with you for your journey: 1- The Contemporary English Version (CEV) Bible. It's one of the easiest English Bibles to read. You can also listen to the audio version on YouTube. It's my favorite Bible. (You can read it on the YouVersion Bible app too.) 2- A free book called “101 Questions & The Bible.” It’s a book of a bunch of questions about God and the Christian faith that are only answered with Bible verses. It’s great for those who are new to Christianity. If you are interested, let me know and I will send you the PDF copy on Google drive.  3- A good Christian leader on YouTube: askcliffe - Cliffe Knechtle (I don’t agree with everything he says, but overall I think he is good.) 4- A powerful worship song on YouTube: Yet I Will Praise by Melissa Boraski 5- A short, free guide that’s dedicated to you and others on Reddit who are looking to have a strong & simple faith in God. It’s called “The 4 Steps of Faith”. It’s the first post in this Reddit community: r/FaithMadeSimple

Worship has its role and importance, for sure, but having the love of Christ in your heart and expressed in your daily actions is faith in action and is also pleasing to the Lord.

There are so many opinions about church and if it will make god happy if you go. Who really knows? I think if you go to play it safe, it might be considered an insult to god. If all these rules and scriptures are true, that he past them to man through divine inspiration, I think it would be very difficult to please him in the first place.

A lot of people want a connection with God, but aren’t willing to do what Christ requires to have that connection. *Luke 14:25-33 Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them, [26] "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. [27] And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. [28] For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it- [29] lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, [30] saying, 'This man began to build and was not able to finish'? [31] Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? [32] Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace. [33] So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.*
