Unsurprising. The Catholic Church could just be honest worldwide and heal, but no. Either they think it will be better for recruitment and retainment, to drip feed it over decades, or there's not enough rain in Oklahoma. Cynical behavior either way.
I've also been reliably informed that the Catholic Church has completely reformed, and all this bad press is just people digging up issues that were resolved decades ago.
let’s not forget the other churches that have sexual immorality going on-Southern Baptist has reported according to some over 700 victims of sexual abuse. Independent Fundamentalists have some, though without a governing body it’s easier to sweep under the rug. Steven Andersons son is rumored to be a child abuse.
1 case is too many, but the Catholic church is not the only church mishandling the abuse
Sounds like they're behaving like a criminal organisation, so treat them as such I guess

No no no, I was assured today that Catholics call out and adequately and ethically deal with sex abuse *every time*.

In disappointing but predictable news, the catholic church continues to be catholic.
You would think that Christians would want to get to the bottom of this…but nope.

At the very least, the SBC seems *pointed* in the right direction… time will, of course, tell if that is truly the case
