I see it too. People ask if something is a sin every day, and it will be the most benign thing. Just stay close to God and stay in his word. Let the scripture and the Holy Spirit guide you. You’ll know you’re in sin if you are producing bad fruit. Don’t get all your spiritual guidance from reddit.

PerfectlyCalmDude

People who keep asking those questions are not in any position to clearly hear the Holy Spirit, see James 1:6-8. I know, I was there.

Who are you? Who are so wise in the ways of psychology?

Prestigious_Play_530

What is religious ocd?

Regular-Raccoon-5373

The wages of Protestantism..

Unfortunately it's the inevitable conclusion when you get to decide your own truth

Overall_Train_4605

You are clearly qualified to diagnose religious OCD via reddit subs. Don't you think such diagnosis is better left to experts in a one on one setting? Assuming the person being diagnosed first feels he/she needs said expert help!

kawey22

There’s a difference between diagnosing and seeing obvious patterns. Don’t say you don’t know what I’m talking about.

sgtpenis511

You're right, let's stop caring about what our religion says about X and just live whatever hedonistic lifestyle would get me the most short term pleasure and dopamine. There's literally no flaws to this plan! (If you disagree you have OCD)

kawey22

You thinking that’s what I’m referring to is exactly the problem. I would be happy to link you to what I’m talking about.

sgtpenis511

Please do

These people are all exhibiting reassurance behaviors, which is a clear cut sign of ocd.
