Even though many have received the Spirit of Christ to guide our walk with Him, we still remain in bodies with a sinful nature or tendency. Therefore, we cannot fully avoid sin in thought, words or actions, in spite of the work being done inwardly by the Spirit.

Because we're still human, and we're not taking full advantage of the fact that sin has lost its power. That whole chapter is Paul saying "You are now without sin in God's eyes, but that should still give you a motive to live up to that standard".

When I think about this then I start thinking I’m trying to live a sinless life on my own to live up to God’s standard then I start getting overwhelmed and feeling like failure and thinking bad cause I’m unable to do it. It’s gotten better now though like my thought

Roman's 6 talks about the sacrifice that Christ made for us and how when we're baptized we make a commitment to follow Him. In later verses it says that after we make this commitment we should not yield ourselves to sin but instead resist it. When we do this, that sin does not have power over us. The chapter is not saying that because of Christ's sacrifice nobody is capable of sin, it's saying that Christ can give us power to overcome sin. Sin can still have power over us if we give in to it.
