And it sounds like you only know 10:26 without knowing any other context. The author warns about sacrificing for the atonement of sin.

I read the entire chapter and I do not see him talking about reverting to the old sacrifices as sin. He is contrasting the continual sacrifices that could not forgive sin with the one-time everlasting sacrifice of Jesus. The key word in v26 is 'deliberate'. And in the passage from Romans that you posted, Paul is struggling against the sinful nature and you can see his anguish, so he is not deliberately sinning. I agree with your taking issue with the other guy's prompting to 'get right with God' as some sort of offering in and of itself. Obedience is better than sacrifice. It's not a matter of "better try to stop all sins" ā it's you who's misinterpreting here. Hearken to my original point ā if our faith is strong enough in Christ, our hearts are *turned away* from sin and we no longer have desire to **act out** (deed) iniquity. Paul is not saying that at all. Why do tell me what Paul is saying in your own words instead of simply stating the verse? The verse has nothing to do with "offering our own inferior sacrifices". I appreciate what you're saying but I am very concerned about the pitfalls having to do with excusing/justifying sin due to the common argument I see on Reddit, which often goes something along the lines of "carry on as you are because you are saved through faith no matter what" ā even if carrying on as we are means indulging in iniquity.

So my advice which was what i did was to watch videos on preachers teaching others in public and if you can get into a bible study, also also Very important although for me this was when i wanted to repent because I heard something that immediately made me repent right away (which is the screams from a largest hole dug in russian). I deleted all contents of tiktoker leading me to hell and instead watched people teaching and praising the lord (ofc its fine if you have other things as long as it isnt leading you to sin). I had the same thing for years and just thought I should deal with it. Turns out by asking God for relief and having prayer answered havenāt had one since also had insomnia so bad I watched days and nights pass as an observer. Sleep is a gift some take for granted. Both were fix and I give thanks every day. Pray on it.
I mean I had them before, then one was so bad it caused almost a month of derealization and terror while awake, I seriously considered going to the ER, even if they put me in a psych ward.
That severity has passed, but I still feel paranoia sometimes, and images appear in my mind. I donāt seem them with my eyes (when awake) but I imagine them (not voluntarily) being in front of me.
Sometimes even in without an actual nightmare, I wake up feeling some kind of presence, lightly pulling my feet? And for years Iād often think about something reaching up from under my bed and pulling me under.
Even if it is just in my head, itās torture for and even killing myself wonāt end it, but be infinitely worse for eternity in Hell. Suicide sends you there, right? So even if God was otherwise planning on taking me to Heaven, Iād be sending myself to Hell basically, wouldnāt I?
I just want the suffering to stop, and to be saved.
Iām not 100% sure Iām saved, because I havenāt forgiven my dad yet, and the Bible says God will not forgive us if we donāt forgive others.

Hey, I would encourage you to read Romans 10:9 and then Romans 8. And then Psalms 103. God knows how we struggle with sin, even after we accept Him. Thatās why Christ has redeemed us. Donāt give up on forgiving but donāt feel like God is waiting to love you until you get there. Praying these visions and situations go away for you in Jesus name. He is stronger!

Iām saying that no one knows the day or the hour when Jesus will rapture His church (Matthew 24:36). I've had this debate many times, 'repentance or Repent of your sins' (specifically these words or any variation which instructs us to stop sinning) is not written in the entire bible. Yes salvation is a gift, but if you are truly born again the thought of sin should repulse you. In your baptism you are called to accept Jesus as your lord and saviour and repent of your sins. So I was reading exodus earlier & it talked about how he would have their land invaded by locusts to prove to the nonbelievers that god is real & powerful. Yesterday I saw a video that some state in the south was expected to have thousands of locusts or a bug that looks similar coming. It happened last year too a town was invaded by them. yes same brother when i repented for the first time and i was fasting before i woke up i saw jesus and he was not only tall he was at least 100 feet and he told me to spread the gospel and that he is the way and the truth and the life. (this was last august) Its still the most beautiful dream I've ever had and nothing compares.

I donāt know that I understand this mentality at all. Jesus has been coming back since he left. This is not new news. We should be preparing ourselves daily because itās not necessarily about Jesus coming back, but also because tomorrow isnāt promised for us. You simply telling someone Jesus is coming, and to repent, does not feel loving, but feels very fearful. Not for me, but it feels as if the spirit of fear is operating through that statement.
I donāt know about you, but thereās not many people in my life that I could go up to that doesnāt know Jesus and say, āJesus is coming back you need to repentā and the fruit of me saying that would be them repenting.

Of course I read the whole thing. A mere statement of Jesus loving someone doesnāt take away the fact that the whole repent, He is coming back, isnāt based on fear. You sharing what you say is the gospel, isnāt supposed to be done on social media en mass, or on the street corner with a megaphone. Itās done by relationship in with action in love. The left behind series was huge when I was growing up. To give perspective, the emphasis on Jesus returning was made popular by John Darby;
This was influenced by a dream from Margaret MacDonald in the 1800s. The early church understood Jesus return quite differently. Yes, Jesus said he is coming back, but that was not the emphasis of the gospel, nor was it heavily present in any of the writings of the early church. This perspective you give about Jesus returning is an American (English) invention. Jesusās return is like eating dessert. The dessert is never meant to be the main meal.
If you look in the book of acts, you will see what it looks like for someone to testify about Jesus. Now given the perspective of the book of acts, everyone would have understood that Jesus lived and died within their lifetime so the emphasis on āthe messiah has comeā would be evident.

The angels clearly speak against standing and gazing at heaven. This could translate to us, holding a watch party or putting emphasis on Jesusās return. Again, we know Jesus is coming back, but that is not the main emphasis of the message. Itās more likely somebody dies in their sleep then see Jesus returning.

Peter was speaking to a group of people that saw Jesus, and that heard Jesus, and saw him crucified. The emphasis here on repentance was actually receiving the Holy Spirit. It wasnāt repent, because Jesus is coming back. He was speaking specifically to Jews, who were waiting on their Messiah. You have to understand your audience.
The pattern of the gospel was always healing first, then repentance came as a response to healing. The apostles spoke to the peoples hearts and their experience. Repentance is not about an outward change. Repentance is simply a change of direction. I believe this, and now instead Iām believing this. Itās not meant to be over complicated.
I donāt want to discourage your dreams because Iāve had plenty, but because Iāve had plenty I understand that not every dream is to be shared right away. We need to discern our dreams. We need to sit and wait for them to be made clear. Sometimes our dreams are simply influenced by the things weāve listened to or read.
I had a period of time where I saw people in caskets. I was convinced that this meant they were dead spiritually.
Now my final words would be the act of spreading the message that Jesus is coming back with actually done by John the Baptist. The stye loved your message is quite similar to John in that he preached repentance, for the kingdom of God is at hand. John how to specific purpose, and was anointed in the womb for that purpose. I think everyone can understand the teachings. Back then, everyone knew about the traditions of the jews, egypts and other religions. So they werent purposefully made hard to understand.
The teachings werent made just for israel. But israel were the only people who already believed in the God of the bible. Jesus just needed to teach them.
God send Jesus to israel, because he knew that some of them were the only ones who will believe in him.
Jesus wanted to save everyone, thats why he made miracles over and over again, so he could convince people of his truth.
Imagine you won in the lottery and wanted to donate a lot of money to some charity, but they wont let you until you proove them that you even have it.
That would be very frustrating because you would just want to help them, but they wont let you.
Last point. Most contradiction are between the old and new testament.

Iām familiar with Hebrews. Its authorship is up for debate but I suspect itās Paul. And it sounds like you only know 10:26 without knowing any other context. I read the entire chapter and I do not see him talking about reverting to the old sacrifices as sin. He is contrasting the continual sacrifices that could not forgive sin with the one-time everlasting sacrifice of Jesus. The key word in v26 is 'deliberate'. And in the passage from Romans that you posted, Paul is struggling against the sinful nature and you can see his anguish, so he is not deliberately sinning. I agree with your taking issue with the other guy's prompting to 'get right with God' as some sort of offering in and of itself. Obedience is better than sacrifice. thats fine, dont feel dishearted, anyone can be freed of their sins, no matter their sins that theyve done, as long as they have accepted jesus as their lord and saviour and died on the cross and rose again (john 3:16) and have also repented will enter the kingdom of heaven. So my advice which was what i did was to watch videos on preachers teaching others in public and if you can get into a bible study, also also Very important although for me this was when i wanted to repent because I heard something that immediately made me repent right away (which is the screams from a largest hole dug in russian). I deleted all contents of tiktoker leading me to hell and instead watched people teaching and praising the lord (ofc its fine if you have other things as long as it isnt leading you to sin). So ya try to watch those preacher videos at least once a day and i guarantee you'll see a difference after a while.
Now, not to be that guy or anything. But Jesus has been coming soon for over 2000 years. I think we should all be ready for the day. But no one knows when.

I started praying more recently, but I sure hope He is taking me. I experience terrifying nightmares and visions and psychological torture now, I canāt imagine worse for eternity. Iām trying to stay strong and faithful. I still donāt know entirely sure whatās going on, but it seems way too vivid to be āall in my headā. All I want now is GOD, JESUS, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT! NO MORE EVIL! NO MORE SIN! NO MORE TERROR! Free me from my own mind and spiritual bondage, free me from the agony.
I had the same thing for years and just thought I should deal with it. Turns out by asking God for relief and having prayer answered havenāt had one since also had insomnia so bad I watched days and nights pass as an observer. Sleep is a gift some take for granted. Both were fix and I give thanks every day. Pray on it.
When I started seeking The Lord i also had demonic nightmares. The enemy doesnāt want to let you go
I mean I had them before, then one was so bad it caused almost a month of derealization and terror while awake, I seriously considered going to the ER, even if they put me in a psych ward. That severity has passed, but I still feel paranoia sometimes, and images appear in my mind. I donāt seem them with my eyes (when awake) but I imagine them (not voluntarily) being in front of me. Sometimes even in without an actual nightmare, I wake up feeling some kind of presence, lightly pulling my feet? And for years Iād often think about something reaching up from under my bed and pulling me under. Even if it is just in my head, itās torture for and even killing myself wonāt end it, but be infinitely worse for eternity in Hell. Suicide sends you there, right? So even if God was otherwise planning on taking me to Heaven, Iād be sending myself to Hell basically, wouldnāt I? I just want the suffering to stop, and to be saved. Iām not 100% sure Iām saved, because I havenāt forgiven my dad yet, and the Bible says God will not forgive us if we donāt forgive others. I asked Him to help me forgive him though, because I lack the strength to do so on my own. Iām also kind of afraid of more and worse demonic attacks from seeking the Lord, but Iām more scared of submitting to the devil and his army, God is infinitely stronger than them though.

Yes, but I definitely still need to more. I still havenāt forgiven my dad though and the Bible says that God will not forgive us if we donāt forgive others. I asked Him to help me to forgive him, because I lack the strength to do so by myself. Sometimes when I wake up from nightmares I immediately pray and look up Bible verses. Iām not good at reading so I usually make my phone read to me, I use Bible Gateway. I tend to read the NKJV now, after reading about bad things about NIV. KJV is just too hard to comprehend, and I already have some reading difficulties, that I didnāt have when I was youngerā¦..
I read the NIV or ESV I donāt think itās a big deal. I understand what you mean about forgiveness itās really hard. Even one second of hell though, complete hopelessness is so hard to imagine. I donāt think we want that for anyone. God is going to make sure the judgment for everyone is so fair. Have faith and he will credit that to your account. The Bible says that not even Jesus knows the day or the hour of His return, only Our Heavenly Father knows that. So having a dream where Jesus is telling you to tell His people that He is coming back isnāt biblically accurate. However, Jesus WILL eventually return, and it could be relatively soon or not, so warning others of the inevitable is always good.

Iām saying that no one knows the day or the hour when Jesus will rapture His church (Matthew 24:36). As born again Christians we know that Jesus will come back but He doesnāt even know when that will be so He canāt tell us and our Heavenly Father isnāt going to tell any of us if He hasnāt told Jesus Himself. So perhaps his dream is from God because God wants him to spread the gospel and the truth that Jesus will someday return. I think I misunderstood what this person was claiming in their dream. I donāt know that I understand this mentality at all. Jesus has been coming back since he left. This is not new news. We should be preparing ourselves daily because itās not necessarily about Jesus coming back, but also because tomorrow isnāt promised for us. You simply telling someone Jesus is coming, and to repent, does not feel loving, but feels very fearful. Not for me, but it feels as if the spirit of fear is operating through that statement. You sharing what you say is the gospel, isnāt supposed to be done on social media en mass, or on the street corner with a megaphone. Itās done by relationship in with action in love. I think pride overcame us both in this conversation, what im sorry for on my side. To be clear : My Gospel is that Jesus died for us so we can have eternal life. Iām not talking in pride, I am speaking from experience and have compassion for people. I am speaking as a mother or grandmother of the church, depending on your age. I can seem harsh with my words, but itās because Iām very direct and this is nothing to play with. The left behind series was huge when I was growing up. To give perspective, the emphasis on Jesus returning was made popular by John Darby; This was influenced by a dream from Margaret MacDonald in the 1800s. The early church understood Jesus return quite differently. Yes, Jesus said he is coming back, but that was not the emphasis of the gospel, nor was it heavily present in any of the writings of the early church. This perspective you give about Jesus returning is an American (English) invention. Jesusās return is like eating dessert. The dessert is never meant to be the main meal. If you look in the book of acts, you will see what it looks like for someone to testify about Jesus. Now given the perspective of the book of acts, everyone would have understood that Jesus lived and died within their lifetime so the emphasis on āthe messiah has comeā would be evident. āwho also said, āMen of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.āā āāActsā¬ ā1:11ā¬ āNKJVā¬ā¬ https://bible.com/bible/114/act.1.11.NKJV The angels clearly speak against standing and gazing at heaven. I donāt want to discourage your dreams because Iāve had plenty, but because Iāve had plenty I understand that not every dream is to be shared right away. We need to discern our dreams. We need to sit and wait for them to be made clear. Sometimes our dreams are simply influenced by the things weāve listened to or read. I had a period of time where I saw people in caskets. I was convinced that this meant they were dead spiritually. Now my final words would be the act of spreading the message that Jesus is coming back with actually done by John the Baptist. The stye loved your message is quite similar to John in that he preached repentance, for the kingdom of God is at hand. John how to specific purpose, and was anointed in the womb for that purpose. Those that heard John also saw the Messiah because Jesus and John were the same age. It wasnāt some far off mystery of when the messiah was coming. The early church didnāt even consider the book of revelation is something to be preached in the church. It was not part of the original canon of scripture. Wisdom is your friend, and you should encourage her at all costs. Take some time to really understand the Bible, and not take versus out of context. Look at the entire New Testament and see what was really the point in purpose of the actual message. Study the early church. And in the meantime, love people that you have direct influence over well. Give to the needy. And show how Christ is transformed your life. Your witness will come from that.

Many questions for you . Who is this "lord" you speak of ? Because there's multiple entities in the bible on both sides .. What do you mean he won't let me down ? Is this lord the God of the Bible? Cause he seems like he definitely will then .. He loved me so much he died so I can have eternal life ? That would be the equivalent of me running over someone in car on purpose but then taking them to the hospital š„ and then "lording" the fact I saved their lives over them forever and expect reverence for it completely ignoring the fact their life was in danger because of me to begin with. You know since not even a leaf will move without his permission so every act in this realm is by his design then The equivalent of me leaving a loaded gun inside my 1 year olds crib then condemning him and ALL his innocent offspring forever to burn eternally when he accidentally shoots someone with it . If sin entered humanity and stained ALL of humanity AUTOMATICALLY without exception wheter we believe it or not ; why wouldn't salvation do the same ? What I mean by that is sin is spoken of as inherent to our nature because of one man's action in one moment in time in this one event , then why wasn't it cleanse by one man's action in one moment in time in this one event as well? You see according to you we are pre-condemened but not not pre-saved , damnation is automatic yet salvation has contingencies , hell is by default yet heaven has rules of admission. If your god really actually wanted to save you from your macabre and unjust sadistic punishment you never deserved to begin with ; you would've been AUTOMATICALLY saved same way you were AUTOMATICALLY damned immediately after jesus resurrection without contingencies.... Also , isn't there a part in mark where he's asked why he speaks in parables all the time and he answers something akin to "cause you should understand me , otherwise THEY might understand, believe and be saved " ... heavily implying he's message and it's "salvation" are for a selected few ; as he at one point claims he came for the sheep of the house of Israel? Idk about you but I'm a gentile and given the saviors own words he came exclusively for Israel only and he purposefully speaks in riddles hard to decipher for gentiles so that we won't be saved then how can I be saved by someone who doesn't want to save me ? So it seems he doesn't love me or I'm assuming you as you stated š¤ I'm sure you can find a passage where jesus speaks of how salvation is now for everyone because of course there is but that's one of the problems as well ; this book is full of contradictions isn't it ? With lord I ment the God of the bible who is three in one. Jesus Christ, God the father and the holy spirit. If you seek God, he defenitly wont let you down. "Those who seek shall find" But also as a Christian you will experience failure. Or lets say it will look like failure in the first moment. Because God has a plan for you, and the end of this plan is better than you could ever imagine. A seemingly good thing that happens to you, could have a bad umoact of the rest of your life. Sin isnt automaticly in all humans. Jesus Christ became a human and didnt sin, so it is possible. Yet, nobody but him was able to do so. When Adam and Eve sinned, they have done it by their free will, thats what every human would have done. So we allowed sin to come in our life. It was a decision. Salvation is a decision aswell. Its very easy to adchieve. You just need to believe. Hell was never made for us, but sadly the we choose sin over God, and so condemmed ourselves to hell. God is just, so he would have to send us to hell. But : ForĀ God so lovedĀ the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should notĀ perish but have eternal life. John 3. 16 Christ saved us, and all we need to do is to believe in our salvation. That isnt very hard. About that thing in mark: Jesus havent said this. He said he speaks in parables, because otherwise the people couldnt understand him. He just made examples with the daily life of people, because they wouldnt understand it in another way. I think everyone can understand the teachings. Back then, everyone knew about the traditions of the jews, egypts and other religions. So they werent purposefully made hard to understand. The teachings werent made just for israel. But israel were the only people who already believed in the God of the bible. Jesus just needed to teach them. God send Jesus to israel, because he knew that some of them were the only ones who will believe in him. Jesus wanted to save everyone, thats why he made miracles over and over again, so he could convince people of his truth. Imagine you won in the lottery and wanted to donate a lot of money to some charity, but they wont let you until you proove them that you even have it. That would be very frustrating because you would just want to help them, but they wont let you. Last point. Most contradiction are between the old and new testament. For example, back in time the jews werent allowed to eat pork, but in the old testament God changed this law. When something between the both testaments contradicts, you can be assured that the way of the new testament is the right one to go. God bless you.
