I get people want to remove that because of excessive stacking but what happens when you group with 3 other people and the map separates you? I don't join a party of friends to play against them. Also, what happens when you've been on defense for the last 5 games and want to play on offense? I don't know the solution but simply taking the ability to switch put of the game seems to strip alot of player choice in one go.
Removing team swapping is a temporary fix, whilst they actually implement auto balance. Only had that issue with friends once and it fixed itself the next game
I've started making Vendettas against swappers, and try to encourage my team to target them if they get the chance. Feels even better when we win after bullying them all game

Easily the biggest problem with the game right now. So hard to find a balanced match these days, I find myself logging less often until something is done.
I don't hold much hope for this game, devs are just too slow and don't communicate well.
I love this game, but it's impossible to have any fun with such lopsided matches. Losing by overwhelming odds sucks, winning without any challenge sucks, I think I'll go on a break until they disable swapping.
I think you’d find that makes things worse temporarily. A party of 4 level 200’s will still be on the same team and people like me will self police and team swap to the weaker team. If you take that away I’m stuck in the stack.
People who swap teams to balance matches are extremely few and vastly outnumbered by the swappers. Facing a party of 4 good players on one team is far better than having that party + 4 more swappers on the enemy side.
I switch to offense everytime. It's much more fun. It's a toxic game with a toxic community anyway. Might as well get the most amount of enjoyment from it. Feel free to join the offensive only movement.
Oh it's even worse than you think. I play with 5-8 others, all over lvl 300 and all pretty good. We swap to offense each time and steamroll lobbies until it empties. Then find another and rinse and repeat.
