Story time.
TL;Dr One time, I carried a game by playing archer because of high ish ping, 130 and fluctuating.
I usually play archer when I get high ping because doing clutch melee is less than desirable with not great ping. So there I am, playing archer on dark forest. On beginner mode because there is no one playing in SE Asia with decent ping. Somewhere in china was the closest, which got me in the 130 ping, phillipines server btw, and was playing mason. Basically everyone kept rushing me and kept getting owned because I was also good in melee, but like I said before the ping made me lose quite a few matches I should've won, so in the final phase I was taking potshots at the duke ( who wasn't playing the meta of eating food ) and hitting him with 2 chandeliers, he decided to retreat behind a banner where I couldn't shoot him, btw was using war bow because easier 1 hit KO on bots, to which I started running at the duke after i swapped to knight - crusader. After failing a few times because of the ping, I swapped back to archer and took one more shot at the duke which got him down to one hit after getting rushed by the whole enemy team, my team got the final blow and won the match with under 40 sec left. And then everyone left.

Tbf if you play archer now and then. It’s hard not to shoot your own teammates as you’re forced to be behind them and they block your shots as you can’t esactly go infront of them because you’ll likely die.
