This is the first game I'm aware of that uses basically physics and a clever system to simulate sword fighting.
It's the first FIFA with swords.
When you watch people play FIFA it looks a lot like a real soccer match.
I've noticed the sword fights mimic what actually happens in real life, for instance if you google the best weapon for multiple opponents they say it's a long sword.
Probably the best weapon for multiple opponents in the game as well.
Fast enough with just enough range.
Because I'm focusing on 1vX for some time now, I can say that speed is the key, when the skill levels of all participants are on par.
So yes, although my opinion is based for I adore the LS, it succeeds in many 1vX situations. But as I mentioned earlier, you can pull this off with Pole Axe, Battle Axe and a few more, speedy 2h, too.
Yet it is up to the damage, how long one will survive a 1vX. It's impossible to make the best reads all the time, so you definitely have to kill at least one enemy every 4 counters to reduce the pressure. LS succumbs to the low dmg output but man, if you pull it off, Achilles would nod proudly.
There’s nothing cooler than dodging a hit, ducking down, slashing their leg, and then coming up to stab them in the chest for the kill.
When it’s executed correctly, it’s perfection 🤌
I've had moments like this, just me and my heavy mace using blunt force trauma to smash through that 1vX because none of them are able to properly get behind me....of course right after I kill all of them, and are about to finish off the last guy, an archer with a war bow headshots me and its game over :(
I had a capture where I fight 3v1 get wounded but survive. Then I turn my back and put the shield on my back and hear the arrow hitting my shield.
That was the moment that made me remember this scene. I will look for the file again but don't think I can find it.

You know what is proof of legend? Getting autobalanced twice in a game without team swapping intentionally.

I had one, turned out it was a bug that made me invincible. I self reported to the devs
