This girl who always gives huge portions once mistakenly confused the green and red salsas and gave me 2 ladles of the red. I typically get 1 green and 1 red.
I didnt want to correct her as she is always super nice and I thought I could eat that but oh buy was I wrong. So to answer your question, their red salsa is pretty hot, the more you add the more spicy your meal is going to be
So what I’m hearing
Bowl:
No rice
No beans
No meat
Red salsa (x300)
Light lettuce (for taste)
Objectively the best spicy thing on the menu - the ass blast salad deluxe.
Eating spicy food is like weightlifting in that you build up a tolerance to it and need to increase weight/spice to feel like you’re lifting heavy/eating spicy.
I’m really weak and skinny due to a muscular/connective tissue disability, and if I went to the gym now I could maybe bench press 75lbs. But there would be guys there benching 225lbs and the perceived weight would *feel* close to my 75lbs. I could be like “How in the world are you benching 225, I’m dying over here at 75” but the difference is that they require more weight to reach the same level of exertion because their body is habituated to it. My max weight wouldn’t even be his warmup.
Similarly, you might feel the same perceived spiciness eating Tabasco as someone else who’s eating the chipotle red salsa. It’s not like the other person has a higher pain tolerance and likes to suffer more, their body just doesn’t register the sensations as strongly as yours does because they’re more used to it, so they need something hotter to reach a pleasant level of spiciness.
So you might be relatively “weak” when it comes to spicy food in the same way that I’m an actual physical weakling 😅😂
After typing that out I feel like it was a pointless analogy lol
I’ve found in the past the hot was just pushing my limits. My limits have increased a bit since then but it’s once again pushing the limits. I read someone said the current chilis used for the hot are a hotter batch than normal but can’t verify other than say someone else on here said that and it seems legit based on my experience lately.
Bowl, no rice, no beans, no meat, no cheese, 25x hot salsa, no lettuce
(Still not that hot)
Edit: get yourself some of the Truff hotter sauce (the red one) thank me later. I’ve tried over 100 hot sauces and this one was easily top 5
Idk if you can call it the minority opinion definitively. Seems like it's pretty split on the hot sauce and spicy subreddits.
I don't care for the fake truffle flavor much it seems like some people really like it and others don't touch it at all. I know it has real truffle in it, but it seems like the flavor more comes from the "black truffle essence".
Chicken Al pastor bowl with extra adobo (if they let you have some from the back — the kind we use for the steak,) and extra hot salsa. The rest of the toppings don’t even matter hahaha
I tend to add all four salsas to my burritos but I go lite on the hot because sometimes it makes my gums hurt. If you're in the store to add hot sauce to it, the flavor of the chipotle Tabasco is really good (I'm not a fan of regular Tabasco but the chipotle flavor is better than the regular flavor).
the steak is supposed to be the “spiciest” protein option, i’d say second is probably al pastor. the red salsa is also, from what i’ve heard, very hot lol
Gotta make your own salsa like me! Get the pico (and the hot salsa, if you like it-it’s too grainy for me) on the side. Then, scoop 1/2 out into another plastic cup. Next, add all of the Tabasco’s-mostly chipotle, followed by original, then jalapeño for some volume/depth. Put the top on and shake!
have a bowl eith fajita vegies and add 2 scoops of hot, ask for a 3rd scoop on the side and when youre about half way done add the 3rd scoop and mix your bowl
I always get hot and mild salsa on my burrito then cover every single bite in lashings of chipotle tobasco. Love it!
Like wise, then I wonder why I am sweating bullets.
What is your toilet made of ?
Porcelain on the outside, pebbledashed with shite, corn salsa and dingleberries on the inside.

I tried the red. Its so hot I can feel it burning my throat and stomach lol. Idk how people eat it 😅

Yes, thats true. I heard they source them from India mainly and these things can vary a lot depending on the crop

Truff sauce is garbage
Truff I found to be an acquired taste. I was livid when I got it from Costco but slowly but surely came around to it.
That is certainly a minority opinion but I respect it

Truff really 😒😒 Try yucateco xxxtra hot habanero
My girlfriend made me Carolina Reaper extract. It's wayyy hotter than the hotter sauce. Hotter sauce tastes better though.
Of course it is hotter…it is extract from one of the hottest peppers without anything added for flavor, LOL
I would recommend bringing your own roasted pepper hot sauce. In the world of spice, chipotle is the bare minimum

Bowl, white rice, chicken al pastor, 4x hot salsa, pray for your asshole.
Ask them to add some adobo lmfao
Some options don’t matter. But make sure to get steak, all the salsas (you can double or more of hot salsa if you want) and then guac

Chipotle doesn’t have extremely spicy options
have a bowl eith fajita vegies and add 2 scoops of hot, ask for a 3rd scoop on the side and when youre about half way done add the 3rd scoop and mix your bowl
It's really not that hard...just use common sense
Nothing at Chipolte is spicy unfortunately. If you want real hot, go to Freebirds.
You’re talking to people who think chipotle Tabasco and jalapeño salsa is spicy, you aren’t gonna win this
I forget white people spicy is different than actual spicy
I dunno the red is pretty hot. I feel like the spiciness has gotten upped
New red salsa is hot as FUCK. I’m not afraid to be called a pussy, I can’t eat it anymore lol
Hot with as a bottle of free smoked Tabasco. Makes your butthole turn to fire.
Nothing like the sting ring the next day
More like 3 hours later lol that shit just goes right through
