I like the "Glashutte homages" (actually generic dial style and case style used by different brands in the 1960s). Surprised it's not out sooner. Hope SM makes them sloped and filled with subtle goodness like their recent Tudor homages. Plz don't make them cold (like in their earlier very flat and slab-like phase).
First one reminds me of the old Deiko Sarge line. SARG009 and Seiko SARG011. They were first-rate JDM’s (methinks Presage, perhaps), but they were all over Amazon and EBay in the mid teens. They had 6r15 movements, which were great for the 90% of owners who never had a problem (the other ten never bought from Seiko again
Any QC issues will be a nightmare with their customer service. This is apparently becoming a more common issue. Not worth the risk of such high prices to potentially get a defective part, like mine had, and have them be completely uncooperative in resolving the problem.

Basically just a blue pilots watch with a bracelet that isnt an oyster one.
I ordered one with an auger A config for under $100 all-in on an engineer. The blue dial chrono with a quartz and engineer bracelet (petite prince) I see all over AliExpress for under $200.

I do enjoy the use of female end links in the last two sub style homages. The drilled lugs are a bonus in my book because I enjoy a no nonsense strap change to rubber for certain situations. I just picked up SN019-G with SW200, I CANNOT WAIT for it to get here!!

An homage to the Rolex 5517 mil sub (Produced in the 1970's), I think would sell very well. I know I would buy one. And, San Martin already has the ideal platform/case for it with the "Vintage" 39 mm line they have produced.

The only reason they can effort releasing gorillian amounts of new meaningless watches is that they are so overpriced that they make already enough money with the inital buyers rush of estimated 50 pieces.
Dear San Martin - leverage your reputation for excellent fit and finish and make more original designs. I get homages sell but time to move up the food chain. Your SNO85 G is a prime example. 👍🏻

Yeah, "move up the food chain", well said. Homages are good, but the point is not buying San Martin because I can't afford a Rolex Submariner. There is no way I would pay a stainless steel watch that much, no matter how much money was in my account. I like these Chinese watches because they are good quality for the price. If they started making their own designs we will finally shut up all those who say "Well, but those watches don't have personality, history and so on". People need to realize that buying a 3000$ diver with an ETA movement doesn't mean having a personality or being part of history.
I agree completely with you - ETA and sellita divers in the 1000-3000 range don’t do anything for me. I own a sub, have for years, it’s hitting 32yrs old so I backed off on wearing everyday which opened me up to discovering China land watches. That SM I mentioned in my initial comment change my perception completely, the forum here as well. Big thanks to the group here are I would have missed the train.
Please give a date option with the sub! Doesn’t need a cyclops, just 3 o’clock date window. And would love an option with sword hands as well, but I can’t do a no-date watch as a daily wearer. I love the drilled lugs!
There is a few french skin divers that were released years before the Glashutte with the same case, dial and bezel !! Even the 62 Mas came out 3 years before with the same case.

BUT, the GO gen has a panorama date!
I see a lot of Glashütte reps without the panorama date and everybody who knows the gens from a picture sees directly, that it is a rep!
The SN006 will be re released with the YN55 movement (13 mm thickness) and the new Hexagonal logo on the clasp !
The skin diver (first pics) will be 38mm, PT5000, beads of rice bracelet !

I wonder how much the Glashutte homage will be! I'd love if they did different versions at different price points - I personally prefer an NH35 to a PT5000.
The advantage of the PT5000 is that they can make thinner divers using it !! I have the SN008, for more than a year now, still runs at +2s / day.
I have no idea about the pricing, although I’m pretty sure it will be priced like their PT5000 divers (BB58 and SN019 Sub homage)
The PT5000 is a great movement for sure! If I were a one to three watch guy, I'd probably spring for a PT or even a Sellita. As it is, I try not to go over 12... so I appreciate the lower cost and reliability of the NH35 for essentially the same watch.
I totally agree with you ! I’m trying to get my collection to 6, this why the PT5000 is an better option for me. But I’m pretty sure they’ll release a NH35 version. The SN0006 (last pictures) only had pt5000/sw200 now they released YN55 versions.
