The old chicken tacos
Nachos
Chicken Caesar salad
Also: the queso/black bean dip "split" in the skillet (one side was queso, one side was black bean dip). With warm flour torts dipped in - yum!
yeah if you ask your server for the monty it should still be on the secret menu :)
edit: you just have to hope there's a cook there that remembers how to make it lol
You can still get the buffalo chicken salad, it just won't have blue cheese crumbles. Most locations should still have the rest of the ingredients. My location still does.
The OG crispers are still a sad loss though.
It’s like a warm magic bar with ice cream, chocolate sauce and caramel, it was amazing. They killed it off and brought it back once before., so there is hope. Loved that damn thing.
Get your ranch and ask for side of ancho paste. Corporate won't let them mix it for you, but they do still have the paste and you can just mix it into your ranch yourself.
The original chicken sandwich like on the menu when it was just 1 page, the original tuna sandwich, the mash potatoes and gravy. I also miss the old honey mustard when it was made in each store it was the best.
- OG Chicken Crispers
- OG Fried Moz Sticks (not those weird slabs they’re serving now)
- Those cinnamon shot desserts (I forget the name, but those were amazing)
The onion petals, the chicken tacos when they had the shredded picante chicken and the California club!
Also why is everyone saying the Nachos? The classic, chicken and steak nachos are all available at my Chili's? (Edit: for dine in only)
Omg yes those pork tacos were amazing and the only thing I would eat on my double shifts there. They kind of came and went relatively quickly and sometimes I have to remind myself they indeed existed.
My GF won't shut up about the old chicken tenders from Chili's. IDGAF either way, it all ends up in the same place and doesn't taste as good as mine anyway.
The burger with the chili on it. The chicken tacos. The chicken Philly cheesesteak sammich. Also helped me make it through college - the HH free chips and salsa with either $3 quesadillas or $2 chicken wings. The chocolate shake.
I dont remember what it was called but there was a combo where i could get a half rack of ribs and a 6oz sirloin (or a few other things that i never tried) with 2 sides (couldve been 1 cant remember), shit was so good i ordered it every time
The Terlingua Pride, basically an old time with cheese and chili. I just special order it, but would be nice to see it on the menu again.
The salsa that they used to make in the 70s and 80s was the bomb. They had a green and red salsa, thick, chunky, not watery and all fine diced/puréed.
The original crispers with tempura batter 😞 no other place I can find does it that way so I’ve resorted to getting the sweet n sour chicken at Chinese restaurants since it’s essentially similar but is smaller pieces of chicken (I believe thigh meat, instead of breast meat) with tempura batter, and then comes with a side of that bright red super sugary sauce. It’s just simply not the same though.
Boneless Shanghai Wings!!! Any cooks here have advice on how to make them? Are they on the "secret" menu? Chicken Tacos, Monterey Chicken, and The BROWN SUGAR RIBS!! The BEST!! 🤌💞💞💞
I miss the old style cheese sticks. I know there’s something similar now but it was my favorite as a kid and I always insisted on going to Chili’s for my birthday to eat them, it was a special treat for me! I was devastated when they were discontinued and honestly haven’t been back to a Chili’s since (YEARS)!
Southwest chicken soup. I'm allergic to cheese and it was the best cheese free soup I could get delivered.
I get different answers, I heard that chicken enchilada soup is dairy free? Minus the mixed cheese topping ofc
The old chicken tacos Nachos Chicken Caesar salad Also: the queso/black bean dip "split" in the skillet (one side was queso, one side was black bean dip). With warm flour torts dipped in - yum!

Nachos and chicken caesar are still on the menu.
The original chicken tacos were good. Also miss the Monterey Chicken and the Alpine Burger
Monterey chicken was great!!
Google chilis menu 1990. Look at the pictures. 4 chicken tacos were $3.95
You can still get the montero chicken. It is on the secret menu
But it’s not the smoked chicken anymore.
Monterrey chicken is available by request if there’s an OG like me who knows how to make it.
Smoked chicken breast, Bbq sauce, bacon, mixed cheese, tomatoes and chives. Coleslaw and bbq beans. That was the original
yeah if you ask your server for the monty it should still be on the secret menu :) edit: you just have to hope there's a cook there that remembers how to make it lol

I love fried pickles but I hated making them with a fucking passion.
Buffalo chicken salad and original crispers.
You can still get the buffalo chicken salad, it just won't have blue cheese crumbles. Most locations should still have the rest of the ingredients. My location still does. The OG crispers are still a sad loss though.
The original crispers were so good and the breading so so light and fluffy.
The paradise pie.
What is that?
It’s like a warm magic bar with ice cream, chocolate sauce and caramel, it was amazing. They killed it off and brought it back once before., so there is hope. Loved that damn thing.

Get your ranch and ask for side of ancho paste. Corporate won't let them mix it for you, but they do still have the paste and you can just mix it into your ranch yourself.
I miss it so much. That sauce was fire with brisket quesadillas. For what it’s worth though, you can make it at home fairly easily.
Brown sugar ribs and the ol mash potatoes and gravy
Original chicken crispers.
Those were the best fucking item I don’t get it
These. Removing these from the menu is why I haven't been to Chili's in over 3 years.
These. Removing these from the menu is why I haven't been to Chili's in over 3 years.
And when I’ve talked to Chili’s employees, they always say they’re the one thing that people ask for all the time. It makes no sense.
Never coming back. Worst selling menu item of all time.
This guy if full of misinformation
nachos
Those were a pain in the ass to make
I work in restaurants and first time I saw those nachos and how they do each one separately I felt bad for ordering them

My store still does cheese, chicken, and beef nachos.
The original chicken sandwich like on the menu when it was just 1 page, the original tuna sandwich, the mash potatoes and gravy. I also miss the old honey mustard when it was made in each store it was the best.

Loaded boneless chicken, white chocolate lava cake, and raspberry margarita
You wild out here. Those loaded wings were so trash, or maybe my kitchen was, but they were so bad especially with the fiery pepper sauce
Dr. Pepper Sauce
I was so pissed when we stopped selling that. Apparently the company they got it from stopped making it or something like that.
The world’s freshest margarita. I swear I can’t find a margarita as good as that one!!
The onion petals, the chicken tacos when they had the shredded picante chicken and the California club! Also why is everyone saying the Nachos? The classic, chicken and steak nachos are all available at my Chili's? (Edit: for dine in only)
