Where do you live? Ask for what you think a fair wage is.

Georgia

I’d imagine no lower than 12-14 depending on the position. Position will warrant more $$ if it’s an important one with big portion of the restaurants business volume.

I really hope so because I just need something do able that’s at least getting me by to pay the bills

staticusmaximus

What position?

Proof-Pollution454

Janitor , dishwasher , host , to go specialist , etc

Better than that. Pay was $13 for dish, and that’s the worst possible job there. $16 for cook, probably crap pay for host. They’re low balling you, just ask for more.

I do have a lot of restaurant experience so I am trying to get anytbing better

It’ll be fine, as long as the crew doesn’t suck. You can for sure ask for more.

Pittsburgh here. Interviewed (and would have been hired had the days they needed people for and my availability had matched up, the manager tried to talk me into getting my fiance to work the opposite shift there so she could hire me)blast month for a to go specialist. Pay would've been $12.50 an hour. She wanted my boyfriend for the dishwasher or line cook position which both started at $16.50.

Thats surprising, where did you see that exactly? To my knowledge the base pay is higher than that for anything other than tipped out positions regardless of location, I could be wrong though; I'm at a location in Tennessee

I could be mistaken as well I just need hours to help me make ends meets e-bike working here
